I got in touch with GH and the package from the site and the mediafire has a fixed archive.

Snacko~ Does the gen have the capability of stretching images so that they'll fit parameters? EG: A picture is 12x10 and the area it needs to fill is 16x16, will it stretch it to fit the extra 4x6?

The only stretching is done for the art portion, by default will enlarge and cut a region, but you can set art.keep.aspect.ratio=0 in config.txt and it will force the image to fit either via shrink or enlarge.

I just found out that via the new gatherer I can get decent sized set symbols. It works really well for the newer ones (probably post 8e), but the older sets have either the rarities missing or the gradients are broken.
Samples left from Wizards, right current:

As you can see some shapes are different! (you probably wouldn't see a difference when it's scaled down on a card).
Also it looks like they did the gradients wrong on purpose, because when they scale down to those tiny icons in gatherer you wont see a difference.

Update to M10 (english only), will get the other languages later.

Update to Wizards set icons for:
M10, ARB, DD2, DDC.

Minor fix for eight renderer.

I'll update the packages later, when I get the non english cards and maybe switch to Wizards set icons for some other sets.

Alright, so I've been using a Future-Shifted card frame for the renders, and they look AWESOME... except for three problem areas. As you can see in my attachment of Kami of Old Stone, the P/T box doesn't line up with the bottom of the frame, the illustrator brush doesn't line up with the name, and my mana cost is on the title line. #-o I've searched my head off, and can't find where I can align the brush and P/T box. Also, I was curious if I can actually get rid of the mana cost (I can always add that by hand through photoshop.)?

Wouldn't it be easier to just grab futureshifted psd and fill in ?

Theoretically you could specify a coordinate outside of the canvas to remove an element. I'm not sure it will work but worth a try.

The pen position is hardcoded into the render and that's why it doesn't align same goes for the p/t box.

I'll add an official futureshifted renderer at some point but currently I'm too busy / lazy.

HAHAHA  That's what I thought when I first started in February. I've got some beautiful cards, A-CR. In particular, things like Cloudheath Drake, or Agony Warp look awesome! The only problem is that since I started they changed the rules on me... and I had gone through and edited all the zone name changes and they changed other rules  Stupid Aven Mimeomancer.

But I digress! Since the pen and p/t box are hardcoded, I shall wait. I understand being too busy/lazy. That reminds me, I need to write a paper on Comparitive Shopping. I'm excited to see it when you do get to it :D

I wanted to say that I use this program all the time. It is fantastic! I use it on my Mac using Macports. I edited the shell scripts to make it run properly.

A couple of questions, can the decklist flow onto another card? I play EDH and I can't print out the entire decklist. Also, is there a way to set the generator to use the full scan if it cannot find the cropped art? What happens is that if I use FS cards that do not have cropped art, the cards render without any art (they are just black). It would be preferable to just have the program print out the full card scan instead. Maybe I am just missing a setting or something.

Anyways, thanks for the program and keep up the good work!

When rendering the art, it's already too late to switch to full card renderer but I could add an option so you could specify which cards from the deck you want to use the full images.

Currently the decklist is only 1 card as it wasn't written in mind for those 100+ card decks, but I'll change it so that after n cards a continuation decklist is created.

Maybe you could write a short howto on mac which packages you need to get it working as it can be run either via wine, or with php5+gd. I don't have a mac so I can't test these issues.

So how do I make set icons work? And how do I get cards to use era terms instead of exile on a 4e card?

The set icons are used when needed (none for 1-3rd edition and if they're missing).

There isn't one for printed English cards as for poxys you would suppose you want the correct oracle rulings which tell you how you really should play the card. However you could do it the same as with translations if the file was available.

I don't think this has an expansion symbol. The expansion symbols are in the eighth/rarity folder. It's a Timespiral pendelhaven.

Well it seems that m10 symbols appear on m10 cards but I don't have any card art.
