Connect to Server with Compiled Source

Hey guys, I'm new to the community, and I'm interested in helping along with the development of xmage. Currently my problem is I cannot connect to the woogerworks server with the compiled client source code from github as I get this message : "Wrong client version 1.3.0, expecting 1.3.0dev2015-03-14v8". I can connect to the server when I use the launcher downloaded from the website. I'm assuming the source code version string is different than release version string, and that the server is checking it and the version is wrong. Is this because the source code has updates that aren't released yet, so the servers don't have them yet? If not, can I locate the string and change it so I can connect with the server?
TL;DR I talk a lot and I'm getting this error when connecting to woogerworks: "Wrong client version 1.3.0, expecting 1.3.0dev2015-03-14v8"

So maybe you can give some feedback about the new match table filtering before the new version is released.
