Shandalar Reminder

The Shandalar bosses start with a free card (Greed, Sylvan Library, etc), but they also get another free creature too, right? What are the choices of creatures each boss gets? I only remember Hypnotic Specter, Serendib Efreet, and Dragon Engine for sure.

Also, what life totals do the bosses start at?

Hmmm, haven't played Shandalar for a while (too few cards now! I guess I've been spoiled...)

Wasn't it mentioned in another thread that Leviathan was the blue boss' creature? In fact, I'm not sure, but maybe they only get one free card (an enchantment OR creature...). I'll have to check.

And from memory, I think their life totals were dependant on the skill level you chose at the beginning of the game? And they may or may not be affected by the amount of manalinks held by creatures of that colour...

Red castle had mana flare and brothers of fire.

White castle had elder land wurm and (I think) either mesa pegasus or benalish hero.

Green had sylvan library and (I think) shanodin dryads.

Blue had leviathan and serendib efreet.

Black had greed and hypnotic specter.

That's on the hardest difficulty. The castles had colour hosers on level 3, I think. Stuff like magnetic mountain, lifetap, gloom, or whatever. I forget exactly what.

On the most noob levels, I think the castles just had ivory cup and iron star and that crap.

I don't remember seeing a dragon engine, but it might be there on one of the lower difficulty levels.
