I can't get MTGForge 07/29 (unofficial BETA) to work in Quest mode. I keep getting this error:

QuestData : readFile() error, file - questDecks-easy.txt - contains the invalid ai deck name: Buffy I

and

Error loading Quest Data, java.lang.RuntimeException: Sorry there has been an error. You can copy and paste this error message.

QuestData : readFile() error, file - questDecks-easy.txt - contains the invalid ai deck name: Buffy I

Please help me, I'm too addicted to Forge to stop playing now.....

Ah, I think I know what's going on: I think I included an out of date questData file.
Either copy the one you had from the previous version, or try using this one:

I looked through my collection of files and I found the last version of the four quest data files that I created for our project.

I have been fairly busy the last several months and have not had the time necessary to create additional new quest mode decks. The attached file below will provide the most recent files.

I'm checking out the newest 07-31 version and noticed that lands are now missing (part of/all of) the text string describing their tap: {mana} ability.

I can still tap a land and it will generate mana. :)

The card, Voltaic Key, is missing the string "1, tap : Untap target artifact."

the AI didn't block my doran when he was at 5 life

reach of branches sometimes doesn't return when a forest comes into play

leaf-crowned elder: does it put creatures into play? doesn't seem to work with tribal cards.

When I remove cards using Rootwater Thief... the cards removed are gone from the deck... but they do not show up in the AI's removed cards panel which remains at a constant 0. The cards are functional, it's just that the interface isn't updated... the only thing that shows that they work is the library count being 1 less after activating Rootwater thief.

Reach of Branches is buggy and probably should be removed along with Empty the Warrens. I programmed and used it and it worked but it doesn't always work. Empty the Warrens counts the number of cards in your graveyard as the storm count which is fine if you play one Instant and then Empty the Warrens, but if a creature is put in the grave because of combat, that card will also be counted. Both Reach of Branches and Empty the Warrens are probably two of the buggiest cards (and yes I programmed them both, my reach exceeded my grasp :D)

, Nantuko Disciple activated ability doesn't work and reads "p G, tap: Target creature gets +2/+2 until end of turn." The same goes for Kabuto Moth, Flowstone Overseer, and Ghost Warden.

Also the gui for the Computer remove cards doesn't increment. When you click on it, it shows the cards but still says 0. The deck that I attached has one Plains and one Swords to Plowshares. Probably the gui label that says "Removed" should be changed to "Exiled" but that isn't a big deal.

Thanks to Dennis and others for keeping a handle on all of these bugs. (I actually don't look at this topic much because it is a little depressing, lol, so feel free to pm me if you think that I might know the answer.)

Version 31-07
Decks used:
G-Elfdruids for me.
Slivers-GW for compy.

I have 2 Chameleon Colossus and a Kaysa in play.
Compy has 5 slivers, one of which is a Sliver Legion.
A few turns earlier, I doubled the P/T of one Chameleon Colosussus from 4 to 8, (before Kaysa or the Sliver Legion were in play) That effect stayed on permanently.
The next Chameleon Colossus came in play as a 8/8 creature
And, with Kaysa and the Legion, my Colossus should normally be: 4+1+6=11P/T (chameleon+kaysa+legion)
Or, in this case 8+1+6=15P/T (chameleon+kaysa+legion)
But it stil remains an 8/8

Obviously, the first bug is that the temperary boost turned permanent.
Second, the next Chameleon Colossus also comes into play as an 8/8
Third, both Colossus do not get Kaysa's bonus.
Forth, Chameleon Colossus does not get the right bonus from Sliver Legion. Whether or not these bugs are a stack on effect of the first bug or a seperate affair?
Fifth, oh joy of joys, when my colossus was blocked by a Essence Sliver and did more than enough damage to kill the sliver, it stayed in play.
(but both dealth damage since both sides gained life equal to the damage dealth, this part was handled correctly, except for the needed death of the sliver)

First time I have seen so many bugs and strange things going on in a single game.

Here's another "Computer is thinking" bug.... #-o

Maybe someone can add a "Player is thinking" option, where the only option for the computer is to reset itself and lose the game

The G-elfdruids deck is by Apthaven, get it here: viewtopic.php?f=48&t=1433 (currently the last post in the topic so scroooooll down)
The sliverdeck, I posted it once but did not upload a deck file, so here it is attached.

Have fun trying to figure this mess out.
Oh, I have played these 2 decks against each other a few more time and was not able to reproduce the bugs. :?
