Hi,
I've noticed a lot of pictures are uploaded with full borders. Any tip on how to cut them off, so they have the same aspect as the others? I've tried to do it manually, but it doesn't look the same.
Thanks for all your work by the way.

What DPI are you looking at? For what are basically legacy reasons, the 200 DPI scans are released with a solid reduced border, while the 300 DPI images are given a more accurate full, cornered border.derivator wrote:Hi,

If you want to take a CCGHQ 300 DPI image (with the full border) and convert it to a 200 DPI image (with the smaller border) then crop the image to 686x976, then resize it to 460x660, then finally expand the borders to 480x680.

Hi,
I'm looking for these oversized cards with the full rounded border:
I did find 1) and 2) in torrent form, but with square borders. I couldn't find any scans of 3).
Thanks!

Since Wurm has just released a new, up-to-date torrent of all main and supplemental sets in XLHQ, I figure it's time to start thinking about how to distribute our list of promos as well. I'm collecting or reprocessing our backlist of promos in XLHQ format, so we'll have a good base to work from for distributing high-quality images of promos. However, the approach that works for a main-set torrent doesn't work quite as well here -- these sets update regularly in dribs and drabs, and many of the individual categories need to be organized a bit more than just chucking them all in a directory to be usefully tracked. Also, I think software that uses scans is much less consistent with promos than with official, three-letter-coded sets so there isn't an obvious standard to stick to.
Right now the local copy I have is divided by category of promo, and then for long-running categories with many cards, by year. So, for example:
This approach also sorts cards by series rather than by associated set, which I think makes the most sense given that many promos aren't associated with a set.
So: any suggestions for how we might best want to organize and categorize these cards?

\--- Friday Night Magic
