Now that I look at what I have here in my computer... I realized it is having more bright and less dark than it is supposed to. Is there any link where I can have Theros block scans? I looked up and found older posts by woogerboy21 and the subsequent torrent but apparently it's nonactive when I try to get it. By the way, I only need the 200 PPI images, 300 is apparently taking too much space.Wurm wrote:... Charlequin reprocessed the Theros block and Duel Deck Anthologies, they are now sharper and look better. It was the only thing that needed fixing.
Also, many thanks for all of these scanning and uploading efforts up until now. I could at least have all the tokens and proxies I needed to play before I can actually buy them, at last! Wish I could do more, unfortunately there is no MTG store within 250 miles, so it's kind of hard to have physical copies...

So MWS has a folder titled "TK" which only contains tokens. The torrent doesn't have a similarly named folder, but provides all tokens from each set in their respective set folder. The mediafire database does something similar, though it puts the tokens (as well as promo cards, etc.) in a separate folder titled "[set X] extras"
This basically just means that you get all tokens when you download the scans for each set, but they won't show up in MWS unless you place them in the TK folder. Has anyone ever gone through and put ALL tokens from every set into a single folder so that it's MWS ready?

There's a token zip like that in the Tokens thread here, which combines both printed tokens and mockups of MTGO-only digital tokens, but I don't think it's been updated in a long time and it's difficult to use effectively in MWS since tokens of the same creature type have different colors, abilities, stats and types that aren't reflected in the file names.

Thanks for the response. I guess it's a job I could do if I could put aside the time, but it's a surprising amount of work. It doesn't really surprise me that it hasn't been updated in awhile.charlequin wrote:There's a token zip like that in the Tokens thread here, which combines both printed tokens and mockups of MTGO-only digital tokens, but I don't think it's been updated in a long time and it's difficult to use effectively in MWS since tokens of the same creature type have different colors, abilities, stats and types that aren't reflected in the file names.

So which theros block is the most realistic.
Yeah I though the same, the older release was darker and had an errata on one of the cards while the new one is lighter...

To those looking for the Theros block, it's in the torrent. It has the best versions of everything. You can download only the sets you want if you like (I guess everyone knows that already, lol).
Well, sorry for the delay, but here we are. I made a torrent of cropped borders XLHQs for use in Forge but it seems no one cares for it. Browsing cards in the deck builder is a pleasure now
When going through all the cards to add in Forge I came up with several typos across the sets. Not many though. For the torrent to check you'll have to rename the cards too. Also there are new zips for 8ED and 9ED (fixed white corners) and C13 (was too dark and kinda blurry). All credit goes to charlequin.
Torrent version 3, hopefully the last one (for real now
) concerning fixes. So, do as before, but now delete 8ED, 9ED and C13. Then open the following zips and rename these cards in each one:
C13: Rough -> Rough - Tumble
C14: Midnight Hauntingg -> Midnight Haunting
CHK: Brothers Yamazaki -> Brothers Yamazaki1
EVG: Goblin Ringleaders -> Goblin Ringleader
V13: Kessing Wolf Run -> Kessig Wolf Run
LEG: rathi Berserker -> Aerathi Berserker
HOP (Planes): Horizon Bough -> Horizon Boughs
All these from M15
Leeching Silver -> Leeching Sliver
Lianowar Wastes -> Llanowar Wastes
Ob Nixilis, Unchackled -> Ob Nixilis, Unshackled
Sliver Hiverlord -> Sliver Hivelord
Soul of Zendiker -> Soul of Zendikar
Also DDL and DDM had the names switched. Change the folder name inside each zip and the name of the zip itself. DDL -> DDM and DDM -> DLL.
After those changes drag the CCGHQ MTG XLHQ Pics folder to trrntzip.exe and let it normalize all files (the ones with no changes will be skipped).
This way the torrent should check and it will only download the new 8ED, 9ED and C13.
Have fun and, as always, report any lemons

That's right, everything is in one folder now, so just combine them all.

No problemo, just making sure it was intentional.

Regarding the "CCGHQ MTG XLHQ Pics v3 [26 Oct 2015].torrent" contents, I have found a few capitalization inconsistencies and card misspellings.
2ED/Will-O'-The-Wisp.xlhq.jpg
3ED/Will-O'-The-Wisp.xlhq.jpg
4ED/Will-O'-the-Wisp.xlhq.jpg
LEA/Will-O'-The-Wisp.xlhq.jpg
LEB/Will-O'-The-Wisp.xlhq.jpg
Ninth Edition is printed Will-o'-the-Wisp
Other editions are printed Will-O'-The-Wisp
I do not know if consistent capitalization relative to the physical printing of the card is important or how it appears in the most recent version which is Ninth Edition is more important.

Thanks mqj, some of those do need to be corrected. Regarding emblems, they used to have the full name printed on the emblem. They stopped doing that at some point. At least one of the Will-O-The-Wisps was printed without an apostrophe.

Basically we use the printed spelling, capitalization, and punctuation. The exception is non-ascii characters - like AE or accents.

If you tell me the file naming and structure you need in a PM, I can try to script the creation of the images for this. Does MWS use any resolution or does it prefer them at a specific size or cropping?charlequin wrote:There's a token zip like that in the Tokens thread here, which combines both printed tokens and mockups of MTGO-only digital tokens, but I don't think it's been updated in a long time and it's difficult to use effectively in MWS since tokens of the same creature type have different colors, abilities, stats and types that aren't reflected in the file names.

Since they're all XLHQ, why not simplify and just have the set shortcode.zip?Xitax wrote:The folder structure is different this torrent.
