I am missing Sixth Edition, Alliances and Ravnica in German (I am pretty sure I saw those somewhere a while ago), and P3K in Japanese, and also the Coldsnap Theme Decks in Italian.

I don't have any of the other ones, however. I have 5th in German but not 6th, and P3K in Chinese but not Japanese.

there is no alliances or ravnica in german that i did. There is 6th german however and p3k in japanese and both chinese. Huggy can help i think. If not, I will.

Disregard Alliances/Ravnica in German, apparently I just have a few in bad quality of those, and not the full set. Where from, I have no clue.

A while ago we were discussing where to go next as we seek to improve our work. And, I suppose, keep ourselves interested. See the XLHQ Pics Test topic for more.

With the non-standard Planechase Planes cards, I'm happy to announce that the Ultra High Quality future has arrived, in the form of 1040 pixels x 490 pixels x 24 bits per pixel color @ 300 dots per inch. So if you, like me, don't yet have an HD monitor, you're a bit out of luck. One day you'll catch up though! And we are future proofed for the time being. Here's a sample:

It takes three clicks to get to the full size image.

The Hippodrome is a cool looking card. It has a 3-D effect that looks like it was done with miniatures for an old special effects movie. And fret not, we included the back of the card in the UHQ set too.

Although the planes cards won't fit here, what I CAN fit on your measly, musty, worthless and weak old skool screen is what the credits look like full size:

Speaking of 3D, look at the use of foreground in this crop to enhance the feeling of depth:

The pics are really clear this time around for some reason, maybe it's my new video card, but they look damn good to me.

By the way, I think "UHQ" works better than "XLHQ", but I'm open to any ideas. Just let me know ASAP before I become more of an ossified fossil than I already am.

Thanks again to PresetM for scans and extreme for processing. Extreme says that these cards were very difficult and time consuming to process, I don't know the details why. Cutting them out and adding borders is just one of his many detailed steps, maybe he can tell us why this set was even more labor intensive than usual to produce.

Gorgeous as usual, guys. I actually played in the Planechase release...first time I've played since the Shadowmoor release. It was nuts.

Yep. It's #41, so it is technically part of the set. I'm sure it'll be added to the promo thread soon enough.
