when I played quest mode on both my phone and computer, I used an app called Dropbox Sync Now. It does exactly what the app title says: choose a folder on your Android and folder on your Dropbox. Those folders are now linked to each other so each change on one reflects on the other. I think the free version allows you to either manually sync those folders or let the app periodically sync them. The paid version says it'll sync automatically once it detects a changenafod wrote:Hi,
I'm new to the whole Forge thing having got here via a Google+ post lamenting the lack of an Android version of Magic Duels. I've downloaded the Android app and am loving it. I've not used the desktop version of Forge yet.
Is there anyway to synchronise decks between my phone app and my tablet app? I could see that from a search in this forum that someone had wanted a sync between desktop and app for quest progress but this was deemed too difficult at present as it would require a dedicated server. A synchronisation between two android devices for deck builds should be easier (I think. Declaration: I'm no programmer) because it should be possible to hook into the Google Drive associated with that account.
Thanks.

Have you ever thought about having a section in the settings that tells you about what you added/remove/fix in the most recent update? It could be called abou5 Update or something like that. Its just an idea and I'm just spitballing so everybody has a easier time. Thanks!

Today I try conquest mode and it seems fun.
I would like to ask how to use the commander?
If I click on his icon, nothing happens.
Ok, not all games are of the commander type

OK, It seems that I am able to play the planar conquest, but,
what are the planeswalk emblems that occasionally I win with chaos wheel?

They grant you points which enable you to Planeswalk to other planes. Each time you Planeswalk to a new plane it costs you X, which increases for every Plane you've visited.vinnie wrote:OK, It seems that I am able to play the planar conquest, but,

Also worth mentioning that I'm currently working on adding special events like Draft, Sealed, and Gauntlet that will cost 1 Planeswalk emblem plus some AEther shards to enter. So even after you've unlocked all the planes, they'll still have a use.friarsol wrote:They grant you points which enable you to Planeswalk to other planes. Also note that you earn a Planeswalk emblem the first time you conquer a square, so you don't have to hit the green spot on the chaos wheel to earn these emblems.

Hi guys,
I downloaded the app like a month ago and I'm already addicted. Thank you very much for this awesome piece of software!
However, one thing bothers me: the missing online multiplayer! The game would be so much better with the ability to play against other human players.
What are your plans / schedule to add this feature?
Anyways, great work!

A couple of questions... Is it possible to increase the xms value for the android version? Also, can the G1GC argument be added as well?

Hi All,
Been playing Planar Conquest and I think there is a problem with colorless mana. I generated a mono White Linava-Elsepeth deck but it contains an Eldrazi that requires colorless mana to play. As a mono White deck there are only plains and no sources of colorless mana. Also I tried pulling a white creature from the aether and got another Eldrazi that requires colorless mana. Maybe the change from generic to colorless has confused things. Is this a bug or am I missing something.
Thanks,
S.M.

Updating my card images takes an absurdly long time on my phone, not because of the download itself but because it takes ages for the app to scan existing items to determine what it needs when they're stored on my SD card. Worse, I can't even leave it scanning because it seems to stop when the phone goes into sleep mode and because I need to manually confirm in order to start the download after scanning is complete.
Would it be possible to make it record when it has all the images in a particular set so it knows it doesn't have to check that directory again? Or even just save a list of every image it has in a file somewhere so it can be read quickly? Or just provide a "Force-download this set in particular without any scanning, and do nothing else" option? Checking ten thousand plus files on an SD card is an excruciatingly slow operation.
It's fairly silly that it takes forever checking every individual image when I know for a fact that I'm just trying to get one or two particular sets.

I was having a similar problem and my solution was to use card pictures per set. 300 pictures split into plenty folders is miles faster than 16 thousand files on the same folder, even when using HQ pictures. In order to avoid this scanning / downloading problem I download the pictures manually on my computer, use the import feature from the PC version of Forge if the files aren't named accordingly and copy this new folder to the Android version.Aquillion wrote:Updating my card images takes an absurdly long time on my phone, not because of the download itself but because it takes ages for the app to scan existing items to determine what it needs when they're stored on my SD card. It requires a lot more effort, but at least I can put HQ versions of card pictures. I have to do this only each 3 months (when each new set is released)

Another question:
I know it'd be tricky, but would it be possible to give Forge the ability to suspend, save, and resume matches in mid-match? And in particular, make it so it does so automatically if the app closes? My phone doesn't have much memory, and I'm really really tired of having to switch apps in mid-app and losing everything.
(In particular, accidentally opening the Google page, which can be done very easily with an accidental swipe from the bottom, instantly causes the app to close because there's not enough memory to run both at once. I've also had it suddenly quit mid-match, which I suspect is also a memory issue. But even on phones with more memory, it'd be very useful to be able to suspend mid-app. I'm just mentioning how severe the problem is on phones with low memory to make it clear that this is more than just a convenience feature.)

I'd like to start by saying I love this app and want to thank you for making it however I've noticed Pyromancer's Goggles are still missing ,at least on my phone, I was wondering if there was any word on this it's not really a huge deal though, my second question is if online play is available for 1v1 yet as I've tried making a server and it just loads for 20 minutes or so before I give up on it, if it helps at all I have a galaxy s6 edge which generally for me is reasonably fast.

Is there a way to install the app directly to the external sd card? Or at least lessen the burden on my phone's internal memory? I stuck a 16 gig sd card in my phone, and I'd like to put as much of Forge as possible on it.
