No it gains activated abilities. Flying is not an activated ability.fmartel wrote:if with Havengul Lich I choose a card in a graveyard with flying, my lich is supposed to be flying, no ?

The AI isn't properly calculating Castle Raptors losing it's +0/+2 bonus when I have a 3/4 flyer.

can someone please explain the mechanics behind Bloodlord of Vaasgoth ?
In a commander game, I killed a player by doing more than 21 dmg with my commander. Then cast the Bloodlord. It came otbf without the bloothirst. Why ?
Even if I killed the opponent I did make some damage !
Thank you.

yeah Bloodthirst currently only looks for the current Opponents in the game, i will try to change that.fmartel wrote:can someone please explain the mechanics behind Bloodlord of Vaasgoth ?

the current problem is that the damage is not cleared for lost players. so i need a bit more coding to fix that.
Edit: Bloodthirst should be fixed with r31984, it now should check all players(Opponents) not only the ones still in game.

In a commander game, I'm at -25 life and can still play. There's an Platinum Angel in play. is it the cause ?

Hm I need to Investigate that I have seen something like that in another multiplayer game too where the other players survive because that angel was on the field (yes it should only work for controller but it seems to be funky in multiplayer)fmartel wrote:In a commander game, I'm at -25 life and can still play. If I have a Precinct Captain bloking a Sapling of Colfenor , My captain would survive knowing it's first strike, yes ?
if so, then a bug has occured. I'll try to see in future games if it repeats its self.

Why would it survive? It deals 2 first strike damage, the Sapling has 5 toughness AND indestructible so it doesn't die. Then normal damage is dealt, and the Captain should die.fmartel wrote:If I have a Precinct Captain bloking a Sapling of Colfenor , My captain would survive knowing it's first strike, yes ?

in a situation where AI destroys everything with Nevinyrral's Disk at his Upkeep, is it possible for my Emrakul's Evangel to sacrifice X creatures ?

Not in a way that's useful. The only time to activate it is before the Disk resolves, which means it'll resolve first and then get hit by the Disk. If it's your own Disk you can activate the Evangel, then the Disk to get the result you want.fmartel wrote:in a situation where AI destroys everything with Nevinyrral's Disk at his Upkeep, is it possible for my Emrakul's Evangel to sacrifice X creatures ?

No. The first thing you do when casting a spell is to place it on the stack, so it won't be in your hand to exile.fmartel wrote:is it possible to discard Pyrokinesis itself to pay for its mana cost ?

on 1.5.56, AI probably isn't taking into consideration Exalted. I fought Kane (BW Exalted) a few times and there were situations where he had a board full of Exalted creatures and still opted to alpha strike. Silent Arbiter kinda solves this problem, but there are cases where AI doesn't draw it and could win if it attacked with a single creature

AI seems to be confused by vehicles. Its turn 2 and I have Smuggler's Copter but no 1-drop, so I'm wide open, but the AI does not attack with its 1-drop and hasty 2-drop.
Actually, it doesn't even attack back after I tap my only creature to attack it with my copter.
