AI Problems with Flanking

Postby doenerchef » 09 Oct 2016, 21:35

I have noticed that the AI is completely incapable of dealing with Flanking. AI opponents consistently (read: every single time) block attacking creatures with creatures of equal stats, which of course results in the Flanking ability making all the difference and destroying the blocking creatures. They even block with multiple 1/1 creatures, which is of course utterly hopeless. Is this a known issue?

It feels a big exploity being able to remove AI creatures in such a reliable manner.

Flanking , Bushido and Exalted (I think) were added at the same time and the AI currently has pleny of issues with them (although it happen to use Exalted somewhat passable-ish). I think it was noted at the time that it's not going to work.

I think it's due to the combat AI which is also in the way of a bunch of other things.

I see. I guess it is still better to include the cards, even if the AI cannot fully handle them...
