Threads of Disloyality has probably the same issue.... it flickers like many other effects while phases and turns change. Causing performance and gameplay issues....timmermac wrote:Soul Ransom seems to be causing shenanigans. I just used a 2/2 creature enchanted with one to block a 2/3 and it survived combat without any additional tricks from me. Also, the same creature still has summoning sickness multiple turns later.

1.6.11-r18
CPU has Sorcerer's Wand equipped on a creature that didn't attack and is untapped, but it never chooses to tap the creature to deal damage at the end of my turn.

I used Teferi, Hero of Dominaria's first ability. I then played no spells on my turn. At end step it triggered and prompted me to select cards to untap. However, it would not let me select untapped lands, and basically cause the game to get stuck.

Activating a Sculpting Steel that copied a Prototype Portal and imprinted a Seat of the Synod didn't create a copy of Seat of the Synod. I remember successfully creating a Seat of the Synod copy earlier today while using 2 Prototype Portal cards, so I think the Sculpting Steel is the key component to cause the bug (maybe something about failing to properly imprint the card due to Sculpting Steel not natively possessing Imprint?).

I think you already saw my post in the previous release thread, but copies of Sculpting Steel/ copied ability activations of Prototype Portal are overall buggy - they resolve but do nothing on resolution.Nekoatl wrote:Activating a Sculpting Steel that copied a Prototype Portal and imprinted a Seat of the Synod didn't create a copy of Seat of the Synod. AI cast (actually put into play) a Wispweaver Angel with another one already on the battlefield. They proceeded to flicker each other over and over again until I killed the game.

I have not tried this yet in forge so you may be right there is an issue. However I have seen people get confused by this in paper magic. Teferi's ability isn't optional so you have to choose opponents' lands if you can't choose your own. Did you try that?tjtillman wrote:1.6.11-r60

My own major issue that is new in this beta though is that all mind control and card stealing effects seem to be really broken. Most notably the mind controlled creatures get perma-summoning sickness so they can only block. Secondly, whether blocking, or using a creature with haste, they seem to be phasing in and out during combat or something so they deal and take no damage.

Cards with "you control enchanted permanent" don't work for me anymore if cast on a creature. I still get control of the permanent, but they never get rid of summoning sickness. I've had this issue two times now with both Confiscate and Control Magic in separate games. Screenshots below:
On that note, thanks a lot to all the people involved with Forge. I've been having a blast playing for the last year.
- Cast Confiscate on Archivist on Turn 19 and on Gravedigger on Turn 23. As of turn 25, they're both still affected by summoning sickness.
- Cast Control Magic on Juggernaut on Turn 17. Still can't attack two turns later.

Gideon of the Trials +1 damage prevention ability doesn't seem to be working properly. The status of the card shows that the damage should be prevented, but it doesn't actually happen. It does seem like the damage prevention status has some effect on whether the AI chooses to attack in certain scenarios, but if you have Gideon on the board, use the +1 against the opponent's one creature, and have no creatures on the board to block, the AI will still attack Gideon with the affected creature the next turn and the damage is not prevented.

Usually works.epsilon82 wrote:Gideon of the Trials +1 damage prevention ability doesn't seem to be working properly. But
If something changes the P/T of the +1ed creature it malfunctions like you described.... atleast for me testing it

Even if his ability isn't optional, there isn't a restriction to untap only tapped lands, should be able to select any lands.Dreamii wrote:I have not tried this yet in forge so you may be right there is an issue. This means that you can’t untap a permanent unless it’s tapped, and so Teferi’s trigger forces you to untap two lands that are actually tapped even if you don’t control them.

Opponent has Triumph of Cruelty in play. When none of us have a creature on the Battlefield, nothing happens during the upkeep.
When I play a 0/X creature, on the next upkeep Triumph of Cruelty forces me to discard a card, but the controller of Triumph of Cruelty has no creatures. This seems unfair.
Reading the text, I would presume the controller of Triumph of Cruelty must have a creature to "control the creature with the greatest power", so I'm guessing Forge compares 0 power on my board to 0 power on opponent's board, but forgets to check that we both have a creature.

Hello! I'm new here so I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong spot. I can't reopen my "edit commander deck" tab. I understand how you're supposed to add a commander. You switch fields until the commander one comes up. The problem is the edit tab for commander decks, which I assume should be right next to the "regular" edit tab...is not there. Did I remove the tab somehow? Thanks so much. Forge is awesome btw.

Description: AI seems to have memmory issues with more complex boardstates. This one was while playing Brawl, but it also occurs during EDH. Java Forge process reaches up to 95% CPU usage and 1.5GB of RAM (i7-6gen., 24GB RAM). It looks like some sort of decisions infinite loop.
