I just realised that the tokens Rhys the Redeemed makes have no image in MTGForge.
A little search later, I found the GW elf token on this page, along with a few other tokens we may someday need:

Use the link I mentioned in the post above. Once there, scroll down and right click with your mouse on the green-white elf warrior token next to Rhys the Redeemed and save the image to the PICS folder of MTGForge0503.
Be sure to name it: gw_1_1_elf_warrior.jpg
Then it shows up correctly in the game. The image is almost perfectly sized, with just a little bit of white in the cormers. But that is barely noticable.

(this saves the small image you see on the site. If you left click the image, you get to see a much larger image that you should not use in MTGForge. It probably will show correctly in the play area, but will be misformed in the lower right display zone where the card image is shown.)

Screenshot below shows the new token in play using the small image.

all-decks2 file with all of the 100 decks from the archive

Postby Chris H. » 09 Sep 2009, 18:00

The all-decks2 file included in the archive at the end of this message contains all of the decks that are included in the 100 deck archive. There are no other decks in this file. I changed the case in several file names and I removed the ".deck" from the end of the deck names.

This archive is for people who are fairly busy and do not have enough time for more than an occasional 5 minute quick game of Magic. Place a copy of the uncompressed all-decks2 file into the root level of your Forge folder.

At the New Game window:

Set the "Your Deck" and the "Opponent" menus to random and start the game. At times, you may notice that when you click the "Start Game" button that the match fails to begin. In this case you should turn the "Stack AI Land" option to off.

EDIT:

I believe that Rares version of the all-decks2 file also includes additional decks. Those additional decks being the 40 card decks which are a part of the all-decks2 file that Rares includes with the version of Forge posted on the google site. 8)

My version of the all-decks2 file only includes the decks from the 100 deck archive. I should have included this all-decks2 file with the 100 deck archive. At some point I may combine the two into one archive.

The latest version of the quest data files

Postby Chris H. » 12 Sep 2009, 00:45

This is the latest version of the quest data files. I have been fairly busy the last several months and have not had the time necessary to create additional new quest mode decks. The attached file below will provide the most recent files.

People should download and use the newest quest files at:

This archive contains four different sets of rarity files. They can be used for both sealed deck and for quest mode. If used with quest mode, you will have to add "quest-" in front of the file names.

The four rarity sets:

Gando's cube set rarities
Gando's play balanced rarities
Rare's gold and hybrid rarities
Rare's less weenies rarities

Anyone who wishes to create their own special set of rarity files can do so. Rares and Rob have created editors that can be used for this purpose.

Any Chance of getting a new toeks picture file? The current one listed here leads to a file that's been removed.

These are the newest set of files for quest mode. These files can only be used with Forge 10-02-2009 or later.

This archive contains the questData file (53 KB) which contains over 80 AI decks. This archive also includes the three text files (now properly renamed) which tell the computer whether the AI decks are easy, medium or hard.

This archive contains the decks from the 100 deck archive. The decks in this archive have been converted to use the new deck file format that was started with Forge version 11-12-2009. These deck files are not compatible with earlier versions of Forge.

To add the decks that interest you:

Place the .dck file inside of your Forge/res/decks/ folder. Restart Forge and these new decks should be available.

Nice! I posted a bunch of decks here:

But I guess these decks are quite different from the ones you just posted (mine are probably horribly outdated).

I just took a quick look at your converted decks. I think your version includes the really old decks that Rares released with the original Forge releases. You also have added a number of fairly new decks that have appeared on the most recent section of the deck forum.

My 100 deck archive includes decks from the earlier section of the decks forum. It looks like people should be albe to combine the contents of both of our archives and have a massive number of decks to play with.
