Deepfathom Echo Always Crashes Game

Deepfathom Echo always crashes my game. It always happens on the AI opponent's turn. I think the crash happens at the beginning of combat. I have seen it not crash when the opponent summons the creature after combat. Then I can be confident that the game will crash the very next turn.
