Quote: "The full game is installed already patch with mana link 201 plus all the card latest community card packs!"
A few quick questions:
- does this pack still support multiplayer mode? (as far as I know multiplayer fails with latest patches)
- does this pack support Shandalar world? (window/full screen?)
- is there any possibility to put this file on "no email sharing" hosting service?

Guys, just try it. We need testing.
The readme says it's patched to 2.01. We couldn't patch it any any further, there's no way to keep up. I don't know what card packs are included.
Multiplayer seems to work, at least all the options are there and it doesn't crash. Test it!
Shandalar works fine in full screen, I don't know about windowed.
There will be more links and probably a torrent later. But the host hip is using now is FAST.
If I make a torrent I'd like to include updates but someone else will have to package them. Otherwise I'll just torrent the ISO.
For now, Install, Test and Report.
<edit> To view the Tutorial, run C:\Program Files (x86)\MagicTG\Tutorial.exe. I don't see another way, there is no way to do it from in game or from the launcher.

1) Shandalar: I do not think original game just after clean install allows option for resume game. This compilation allows and there is some lord13 character with some red deck. When I entered "edit deck option" during exit from deck builder I got info about too many "The Brute" card copies in deck - I needed to remove one copy (from 4 to 3). I vote for remove this "extra" save game.
2) quote: "However the BIG feature of the new installer is the fact that it automatically installs the ACT Fix WITHOUT having to use the Application Compatibility Toolkit."
from this fix info: "Fixes "stuck" variable messages in cities. Most obvious is "Do you want to buy this card (Y/N)?" It is not visible without it."
Seems fix does not work (at least for me) as I still do not see "Y/N" message.
3) Magic launcher after choosing an option minimizes to icon tray and not maximizes after exit from the game - it is a little confusing at start as I launched it a few times only to spot a few icons later.
4) Uninstaller is looking for file in C:\Windows\AppPatch directory. I have my system installed not on C: and there is such directory with "this" file on this other partition. I needed to change this manually in registry. And even after this uninstaller did not delete my magic files (only this file in Windows directory) nor Magic entries from Programs menu.

Re: Magic: the Gathering CD-Rom 2009 Updated for Windows 7
The act fix is working here on windows 7, in fact I tested on several systems that never had it installed before, it worked on all of them.
But if you installed windows to other that C drive then that is most of the problems right there. Sorry but you in about 1% of gamers (or less) who have the kind of set up, I can't write for 1%

PS - if you install the Tutorial, there should be a shortcut in the Magic start menu group

After installation of system in 2003 I have not had any problems with installation of any program so far. It should be "automatic" and in this case the thing is: MTG CD autostarter installed correctly uninstall files in my windows directory (there was nothing installed on C: drive) - only the path required for uninstallation in registry was typed wrong. And that still should not be the reason why all files of magic were left on hdd untouched after uninstall.
Have you tested fix on XP? Or only on W7? Does it patch some original Windows system files?

Re: Magic: the Gathering CD-Rom 2009 Updated for Windows 7
I used installshield which generates the the uninstall ruote automtically, so I'm guessing a installshield bug.
I tested it on Windows XP 32 and 64-bit, Vista 32-bit and 64 bit and Windows 7 64-bit (my current OS) but they are all in the 'classic' C drive = windows system drive configuration. Once many moons ago, I had a system that by a fluke, got windows installed on my D partition, I went thru hell until the next format (but it was so long ago, it may have be Win98)
no patching of windows files but the Magic TG font is installed to the windows fonts folder and the ACT file is install to a windows sub directory (don't remember off the top of my head).

I do not see any new "Windows" directory on my C: drive so I can assume all files were installed correctly in proper "Windows" directory, and that should not be the reason why it is not working.

The disc is enough good, is very good but it has an enormous mistake and the fact is that the majority of pics do not coincide with the original cards. Of the rest all good is, although I would like if you could add to him all the renewed new images of the deck editor, dualart, shellart. If you could arrange all this we would be before the best edition of this game

I agree with Franjoal. Pics are wrong, most of them, and it seems that you used a very old patch, since cards that were coded time ago (Like Meddling Mage) are not available.
Thank you for this great great edition of the game.
May I ask you... Would you let me to post the download link in an Argentinian MTG forum? (themagictutor.com) Many users would be really happy to have this great compilation!

Please be more clear about what you mean that pics are wrong.
This game is only patched to 2.01. That is the same as Moks, it is not supposed to be newer as I've already explained.

Huggybaby: There are cards like Silver Knight, Meditate and Masticore in the CD that are newer than Mok's 2.01 version; and in those cards, pictures show other cards' art.
Sorry, sometimes it is difficult to me to explain myself in a non native language.

I think the art is from March 2009. If anyone has the appropriate art let me know. We don't intend to add new cards but we can try to fix the art for the cards already included.
