This is actually not a bug, since the Noble Hierarch doesn't actually deal damage (unless it's pumped by something else).I had a Basilisk Collar equiped in a Noble Hierarch and blocked a Boggart Ram-Gang, but this didn't died at end of combat. Against a Man-o-War, it also didn't work.

There are many effects in Forge currently calculated upon going onto the stack when they should be evaluated upon resolution, such as Festival of Trokin mentioned in the very first post of this thread. Another interesting one I just found is related to Dark Confidant in multiples: the order of the life losses is shown in the left panel before any of the abilities resolve, and does not correspond to the order of the revealed cards. (The library in general is underdeveloped, as cards such as Erratic Explosion testify.)

Thank you for the explanation. Makes good reading.

Here's a simple bug, Shield Sphere does not get its 0/-1 counter when it blocks.

Ah yes, my bad... it's a bug that sneaked into this latest Beta I guess (Meglonoth and Jedit Ojanen of Efrava won't work either).
I've just fixed it on the SVN.

I'm not sure why, but the lifegain ability of Sunbeam Spellbomb doesn't seem to work anymore.
Also, Moment's Peace Flashback ability doesn't work, fixed it though.

The AI for the
"When " {card name} " enters the battlefield, return a land you control to its owner's hand."
is not working properly. I tried to add this card to cards.txt and the human can play it successfully. When the computer plays this card, the human has to pick the land card for the computer and the land does not return to the computer's hand.

I had a Gilder Bairn in play but I couldn't use its ability because it was impossible to select it.

Beta 313: compy attacks with a bunch of creatures (random generated deck) and I throw a Respite his way. (elf-staff deck)
One of the attackers is Viashino Slaughtermaster and although the rest of the damage is stopped, I do take 1 damage during the first strike combat phase. Since VS is the only double striker, I think he is the guilty party.
So it seems that Respite does not stop double strike critters from dealing damage. NASTY!
EDIT: It is first strike that bypasses Respite. Ambush Party also dealt damage eventhough I cast Respite.
Not good!

Anyway, I've fixed it, maybe I'll release a new beta in the next day or two with a bunch of bug fixes.

Hm, Gilder Bairn works fine for me... you can only use his ability when he's tapped, by the way.

Why do I can use its ability only when it is tapped? It's supposed that you have to had it untapped because you need to tapped it, besides tapped the mana.DennisBergkamp wrote:Hm, Gilder Bairn works fine for me... you can only use his ability when he's tapped, by the way.

1. AI doesn't sacrifice Bolt Lightning at the end of the turn. (Holy day that turn was used).
2. AI cast Oblivion Ring when player doesn't have any creatures in play and AI have one, and AI exile's it.
3. When Ai play second oblivion ring the creature removed with the first one didn't return to play.
