Microprose Magic Bug: Random Lands in Shandalar

Hey guys, let me start this off by saying hello to everyone and thanking the team responsible for making the Microprose Installer. I am so glad that I can play Shandalar again.

Anyways, I've noticed in my current Shandalar game that Swamps randomly appear in my Red and Green deck. It doesn't happen all the time, but I've noticed it a couple times now. Can anyone else confirm this?

I've installed the game according to the instructions and I'm running Win Xp Sp3.

here's my guess- you are running less than 40 cards (perhaps due to a lost ante?). The game automatically fills extra slots with basic land when you dip below 40 cards.

discoransom is correct, if your deck is lower than the minimum size (varies depending on the skill level chosen at the beginning, but is 40 on the highest level) then random basic land will appear in your deck.
