by DennisBergkamp » 05 Jun 2010, 17:33
(Quest icons used created by Teekatas, from his Legendora set http://raindropmemory.deviantart.com)
I personally haven't been able to spend too much time on this version, but luckily others have (Beached As and Chris in particular).
3278 cards in total.
Fixes/Features:
- Fixed Kjeldoran Outpost text.
- Fixed a bunch of combat errors.
- Fixed the bug that occurs when trying to play a quest assignment right after starting up forge.
- Fixed Reanimate.
- Fixed Sarkhan Vol, it will only pump creatures now.
- Fixed Seal of Cleansing / Seal of Primordium.
- Fixed Nirkana Cutthroat, it should have first strike now when leveled up.
- Fixed a bug with Lobotomy, it would crash if there were no cards to be selected.
- Chris changed a whole bunch of keywords from "This creature/card" to "CARDNAME".
- Jim fixed an a problem with Regrowth asking for input twice.
- Chris replaced some of the incarnations (Wonder, Brawn...) in quest mode, since they slow down the game.
- Beached As fixed Bloodghast, it should correctly have haste now if opponent < 10 life.
- Snacko fixed a getColor nullpointer exception.
- Snacko fixed a bug with Harrow.
- Rob improved the code for deciding whether the AI will play a spell during his Main1 phase.
- Glimmerdust Nap and Entangling Vines should fall off if the creature they enchant becomes untapped.
- Snacko improved AI for Oath of Druids.
- Rob added "UntapAll" "drawback".
- Chris fixed Fear.
- Fixed some of the on block triggers (Shield Sphere, Meglonoth, ...).
- Beached As made some fixes on Dark Depths.
- Rob finalized spAllPump and added buyback to spPump, spAllPump, spDamageTgt, spDraw, spDestroyTgt keywords.
New cards:
- Tormod's Crypt.
- Life from the Loam.
- Beached As added a bunch of Storm cards (including Mind's Desire).
- Snacko added Sword of Fire and Ice, and Sword of Light and Shadow.
- Beached As added:
Avatar of Woe, Avatar of Might and Avatar of Fury, Avatar of Will, Sovereigns of Lost Alara, Maelstrom Nexus, Doomed Necromancer,
Affa Guard Hound, Akroma's Memorial, Eternity Vessel, ... + many more.

For those people playing quest mode in Forge 06-05 there are two decks missing from the /forge0605/res/quest/decks/ folder:
Boris Karloff 3.dck
quest12.dck
I zipped my /forge/res/quest/decks/ folder and have attached it below. My decks folder includes all 123 of the AI decks used by the computer in quest mode. This is the full set.

all rarities for Forge 06-05-2010
This archive contains updated rarity files for Forge 06-05-2010. I added the missing rarity values for the new cards that were included in Forge version 06-05-2010. This set is not compatible with earlier versions of Forge.
This archive now contains only one set of rarity files. These files have had a rarity value assigned to all of the cards except for the basic lands, basic snow lands, and Rares three fantasy cards.
As of version 10-02-2009 these rarity files now go inside of the res folder and are now of no use to you if you place them in the root folder. You can place a copy inside of the res folder and a second copy inside of the quest folder.
As of version 04-11-2010 another set of rarity file appears in the /res/draft/ folder. You can if you want, move a copy of the all rarities into this folder but this will include every card your potential draft pool. Draft mode will likely be more fun if you place rarity files that include a limited set of cards into this folder.

hello, I commend you for a new version, please don´t stop.
I have a question: The cards are in the post "Card Requests - Cards and cards done on list", you are going to include?. Thanks.
P.D.: I use "Google translator". Sorry for mistakes

Beached As, you're my hero. Mind's Desire is amazing ... I stayed up for hours.
A lot of work must have gone into that, and I haven't come across any problems yet. In fact, it lets you counter your own spells, which is something you can't normally do. So Mind's Desire works better than Forge!
Kudos to Beached, and as always a huge thank you to all the developers who make Forge possible.

Hooray for a new version! I just wanted to know if there was any way to see the full list of new cards added?

Run a fresh copy of forge 06 05 without modifying or replacing the included rarity files. Go to the deck editor and sort by rarity. Scroll down to the bottom and the new cards (plus Rares 3 fantasy cards) will be at the bottom and they will not have a rarity value assigned to them.
