AI Oblivion Ring my Bitterblossom token and when I used Maelstorm Pulse in it I got Air Elemental. I am using the latest Beta update 25 of june.

Unfortunately the game will hang if there is too much permanent in play, this is an issue of the original game (it happen in Shandalar too)
Hi again,

Messed around with the Verduran Enchantress, Time Elemental, Recursion Deck a few times.

Noticed a few more things before it hung.

1) The maximum number of permanents I have put in play has been 43, while the computer had 7 permanents in play.

2) The more permanents in play; then, the slower the game got (which is reasonable).

3) After either my Berserk Atog (68/18) or my Atog (31/32) ate a lot of artifacts , I got an error message:

"ERROR

The following error has occured in the magic duel which will cause the current card to behave improperly (to not preform all of its effect or not deal all of its damage)

Add Card error: No more Room in cd to add card."

4) The "Hang" occurs late in the game:

a) when I tried to untapped a lot of lands with the Candelabra of Tawnos (n1.),
b) when I tried to return a permanent with Time Elemental, such as the Candelabra or Instill Energy, or
c) when I tried to cast Wheel of Fortune or Timetwister, or put the Artifact Candelabra of Tawnos into play.

Hi,

New info:

Played that V-T-R deck again.

And got that Add Card Error again when I played Wheel of Fortune.

But, this time time the game did not Hang.

Instead, the card draw stopped at Six cards--the computer told me that I could not draw anymore cards--and that I lost.

Clearly, I counted 10 draw cards in my deck before the Wheel with my D.T.

And, during the loss screen, the computer showed me that my next draw card was a Dual Land card.

The computer never drew any cards.

Not sure why the game did not Hang. Perhaps, it's because I used Mind Twist and Tormod's Crypt on the computer a few times.

I hope this new info helps.

Copy Artifact turns Gold when copies Black Lotus.

It's a known issue, maybe even it's also a bug from the original game, any copied non land mana source card will get its mana generation color.

In any event, I played the V-T-R deck again.

This time the game did not Hang.

But, I did get the Add Card Error Message; however, I got it by adding mana to my manna pool.

The message popped up after I added about 75-85 various color mana to my mana pool.

About 47 perms were in play at the time.

Before, I exiled about 30-40 of the computers cards.

After, I closed the Error Message Box and used the Copy Artifact Candelabra to un-tap 17 lands.

Next, the response dialog box for fast effects asked me if I wanted to activate "Kongming, Sleeping Dragon"--a card not in play or in my deck.

Then, I lost the game when I cast Timetwister.

When the AI activates Illusionary Mask to put a creature into play, you can right-click and look at 'Original Type' to find out what creature it is :p

Oh, the other thing about Illusionary Mask is sometimes the AI turns the creature face-up right away for no particular reason. Either I cannot figure out how to do this myself, or this is a bug.

Got another one: If AI has Meddling Mage in play, naming a creature, I can use Illusionary Mask and I can put that creature into play if I play it face down.

Can you tell I'm playtesting Illusionary Mask for the July tournament? :wink: I don't think I'm going to submit that deck, though.

edit: Another one: I had a Tarmogoyf with Armadillo Cloak and equipped with Umezawa's Jitte. It trampled over the defenders and the cloak and jitte processed twice, once when the Tarmogoyf killed the defenders and once when the trample damage hit the opponent, so I got 4 jitte counters and gained the trample damage twice in lifelink.

That's legal, since you are not casting the named creature.

Also Novablast Wurm can destroy anything, even Emrakul or Progenitus :D
