I played Wren's Run Packmaster, championing Nissa's Chosen. AI used Control Magic on the packmaster, and later in the game when the packmaster died, Nissa's Chosen came back into play on the AI's side instead of mine.

Tried your save, it loaded fine and I casted Braingeyser for 10 on the AI with no problem,
Hi,

Glad to hear that you had no problem loading the saved game and casting Braingeyser for 10 points on the computer.

---

Braingeyser seems to force 10 card draws; but, the Fork copy of Braingeyser does not seem to force 10 card draws.

---

The computer has 07 cards in hand. I cast Braingeyser and targeted the computer to draw 10 cards. :) Then, I interrupted Braingeyser with Fork. :) Fork copied that Braingeyser, then I targeted the computer. :) But, the Fork copy of Braingeyser forced the computer to draw 00 cards, then Fork went to the graveyard. :? Next, Braingeyser forced the the computer draw 10 cards, and then Braingeyser went to the graveyard. :) So, the computer finished the stack with only 17 cards in hand. :?

The way I understand this Fork Braingeyser stack is that the computer should draw 20 cards in total and finished the stack with 27 cards in hand.

I attached a picture of the problem for your review.

I noticed that this also occurs if I target myself. Hope this is not a bug.

(Section edited twice for clarity.)

I hope this helps.
If not, then disregard.
I'm following your lead and getting the latest release and the latest patch and installing a fresh copy.
Thanks.

Hi,

I don't know what the problem with Gideon is; but, don't feel bad: live and learn. :D

---

Ancestral Recall & Fork works for me in all my .DCK files and in every *.exe mode. :D :D

---

The Mind Twist & Fork stack is resolving like the Braingeyser & Fork stack. :?

I cast Braingeyser on the computer to increase the number of cards in the computer's hand from 07 to 27 cards. :D Then, I cast Mind Twist on the computer for 10 discards and cast Fork to copy the Mind Twist for another 10 discards on the computer. :D The Fork copy of Mind Twist force the computer to discard 00 cards. :? But, Mind Twist forced the computer to discard 10 cards. :D So, the computer finished the Mind Twist & Fork stack with 17 cards in hand. :?

The way I understand this Fork Mind Twist stack is that the computer should discard 20 cards in total and finished the stack with 07 cards in hand.

(Section was edited two times: once to add Mind Twist & Fork info; and, once for clarity.)

Hope this helps,
If not, then disregard.
I'm now getting the latest release and the latest patch and installing a fresh copy.

Hi,

Update:

First, downloaded a fresh copy of the May 2010 Manalink Update--Ran the patch--Played the recursion deck in Custom mode.

1. So far, no problems with Mind Twist & Fork combo. :D
2. Braingeyser & Fork combo does not work. :?
3. Verduran Enchantress demands I draw a card. (Please see previous post). :?
4. Can add over 250 different color mana to pool before Add Card Error messge appears. :? / :)
5. Fork Berserk Atog (164/42) ate lots of artifacts--Cast Timetwister twice--The game Hung when I tried to cast an 0 casting cost Articact. :? / :)
6. Zuran Orb appears as Mental Note (Please See Previouse Posts). :?
7. So far, no problems with Candelabra of Tawnos. :)

---------------

Then, downloaded a copy of the Manalink Update for June 2010--Ran the latest patch--Played the recursion deck in Constructed mode.

5. Atog (49/50) a lot of artifacts--Cast Timetwister four times--The game gave me the Add Card Error message when I cast Braingeyser on me for 10 cards. Next, the game told me that I had no more cards left in my library--Then, it showed me that my next card draw was Berserk. :?
6. Zuran Orb appears as Mental Note (Please See Previouse Posts). :?
7. So far, no problems with Candelabra of Tawnos. :)

---------------

Noticed that the game recycles smoother later in the game with Mental Note in it compared to the Zuran Orb that was moved from the original card slot to a new slot, which is closer to the end of the 2000 card list. :D (Please see previous post.)

Next, I'll play the deck with Zuran Orb in its original card slot and see if the game gives me any error messages.

Hope this info helps,
If not, then disregard.
Thanks For Your Help.

Can you get me a save of this? I was just able to choose to attack my opponent when it had Elspeth in play.

I can try. Since I posted that, it hasn't been 100%. I'm hoping with the newest update for this tournament that it will kind of fix itself :p I didn't encounter any planeswalkers in Group A so I don't know if it has or not yet.

Hi,

Wanted to know if the V-T-R deck would work with Microprose_MTG_Mok_s_Manalink_2.0_Version. So, I set it up; Ran it; And built the V-T-R deck. Late in the game I noticed:

1. The game recycled fast late in the game. 8) / :D
2. Mind Twist & Fork combo worked. :D
3. Verduran Enchantress did not demand cards. :D
4. Candelabra of Tawnos worked. :)

5. Braingeyser & Fork combo did not work. :?
6. Time Elemental got the AddCard Error message while sending a bunch of permanents back. :?
7.A. Atog got the AddCard Error message while eating a bunch of artifacts. :?
7.B. Fork got a Memory Address Error message while making a copy of Berserk--just after Atog ate alot of artifacts. :?
8. No Zuran Orb to play. :(

I need to test Zuran Orb in the June 2010 release.

Hope This Helps,
If not, then disregard.
Have a Happy 4th. :-" \:D/ :supz:  :partyman: :vom:

Mind Stone is buggy. When I activate the draw a card ability end of turn of the AI I didn´t draw a card. Then I had 3 Mind Stones in play and activated them all three in a row (the second and third as a fast effect after activating the first stone) to draw three cards in my turn and I only got one card instead of three.

Trinisphere is weird. In the tournament, I had AI play two mana cards like Bitterblossom for 2 mana when I had Trinisphere in play, yet it was keeping me from playing Meekstone for 1. In another game, AI had two trinispheres in play and I couldn't cast bitterblossom or hymn to tourach even with 3 swamps untapped. (I never got a 4th mana that game, so I don't know if it was adding the +1 cost twice) Fortunately, no match outcomes were affected.

I tried to duplicate the bug, but I couldn't make it happen. I guess this is a good thing :P I guess maybe the most recent patch fixed whatever was going on. I tried it about six or seven times using my tournament deck as a mirror (since it has several planeswalkers in it) and it worked correctly every time.

In case it happens again, when this was happening to me, I was still getting the choice to attack opponent or the planeswalker, but no matter what I chose (all vs opponent, all vs pw, some vs each) they would all attack the planeswalker.

Hi,

Used the June 2010 Manalink Update to make the V-T-R deck and test Zuran Orb in Constructed mode. Got the AddCard Error late in the game when I played a land card.

Before I got the error message, I had just sacked a bunch of land to Zuran Orb, cast Timetwister, drew a land in my hand from the Timetwister, and played that land card. Then, the AddCard Error message popped up.

Attached a picture, the deck file, and the sage game file for review.

-----

Same deck, different game: Cast Regrowth for Time Walk in the graveyard. Next, I cast Fork to copy the Regrowth and accidentally targeted the same Time Walk in the graveyard. (I really wanted Timetwister, which was right next to Time Walk in the grave yard. #-o ) In any event, the computer resolved the stack by putting Time Walk in my hand--twice. :? /

The way I understand this stack is that the computer should have used the Fork copy of Regrowth to put Time Walk in my hand and then it should have fizzled Regrowth (for that Time Walk) because Time Walk is now out of the graveyard and in my hand.

This Regrowth and Fork combo works with other cards too, like Timetwister. :? /

Will post screen shot upon request.

Hope this helps,

In the Group C tournament matches, I found Mind Stone and Lodestone Golem to not be working some of the time. Mind Stone I sacced in three different games; twice I didn't get a card and once I did. AI was ignoring Lodestone Golem's mana penalty about half the time.

Lake Of The Dead bug: I had Bloodghast in my graveyard and I played LotD and brought Bloodghast back to battlefield, but then I didn't have to sacrifice a swamp for LotD.

Hi,

Was messing around with a Preacher & Seasinger deck.

1. Noticed City of Shadows sends creatures to the graveyard instead of exiles creatures. :?

2. Noticed a Fireball cast late in the game initially recognizes a lot more mana than I actually have: 72+ mana total when I have 8 mana to tap!? :?

But, noticed a Fireball cast early in the game recognizes the amount of mana in my pool that I can tap: 8 mana total when I have 8 to mana to tap. :D

Hope this Helps,
