Chris-

What tokens are still not available from the web? I can make them in MSE so that they can be included in the distro. Maybe I should just go through all of them..

All tokens are available for MWS viewtopic.php?f=15&t=452 thanks to Mahamoti, so you easily pick the ones you're missing and include them.

Also a good place to get url for tokens is http://magiccards.info/extras.html which uses the HQ tokens from our forums as their source.

I think there is a total of 106 different tokens in forge. 15 are for the quest mode, the croc, plant wall and wolf. 44 of these tokens have jpg urls located in the listing found in the card-pictures-token.txt file. It looks like the card-pictures-token.txt file is missing 47 pics + urls.

I discovered one day that WotC has token jpgs available on their web page. They can be found using the url:

{number} appears to be from 3 to 5 digits. I was typing in random numbers and came across the red 1/1 goblin token. I do not understand the type=card&multiverseid={number} system well enough to convert us over to these images.

Currently, most of the 44 token urls point to http://www.magickartenmarkt.de 's web site. It looks like their web site is now working, but at other times it will be down for maintenance. These tokens measure 210 x 300 pixels.

Several of the 44 token urls point to http://www.mtgmintcard.com. These tokens measure 200 x 286 pixels.

The MTG Salvation tokens measure 375 x 523 pixels.

The WotC pics would be best, but I do not understand the system. I could convert the urls in the card-pictures-token.txt file over to use the http://www.mtgmintcard.com site. It looks like I should be able to add many of the missing tokens as part of this project. What do people think?


EDIT:

Turns out that there was only 43 unique token pic urls.

Forge will now download a total of 51 LQ tokens. This is eight more than before.

I have merged the additional pic urls into the SVN. I have included the updated card-pictures-token.txt file in an archive below.

I believe that there are a total of 91 tokens at this time. This a listing of the tokens located in my /res/pics/tokens/ folder:

I don't know if this is listed somewhere else but I've noticed that lag increases when I cast Conspiracy and goes away without it. Is this somehow related to the Wonder type card problems. They both have a similar global effect over all of your creatures. Just thought I would bring it up in case there seems to be a correlation.

I have noticed the same thing. Some of the state based effects can slow the game down to a crawl. Beached As found a way to recode the various Incarnations. They are not supposed to cause the same slow down with the last beta. :)

i'm not sure whether or not i misunderstood, but a ref friend of mine said that combat damage no longer goes on the stack. not sure if that justifies any reprogramming

It's a small piece of the M2010 rules change/catastrophe. I think Forge has come too far to turn back now -- besides, if the programmers were to implement it, all that work would probably get destroyed by M2020 or whatnot.

on the last turn of game 1, i finished the computer with dunerider outlaw. at the beginning of game 2, it got a +1/+1 counter. lingering effects?

for some reason, the game was not letting me play urborg uprising at one point. i couldn't even click on it. i think it may have been because i only had one creature in my graveyard, but the card says up to 2, so there shouldn't be a problem

*theory proven: it worked after another creature died
