My wolf pet token was returned to my hand by Wall of Tears instead of being removed from game.

I ran a few tests and reproduced this error message. If we select a Display Option we get this error on a subsequent program launch.
I opened the pref file in a text editor, deleted the contents and resaved the pref file. Forge restarted without an error. I would suggest that we use the default look and feel for this version and hope that this can be addressed by the next release.

It's already fixed in SVN.
Also card images that are scaled over their original dimensions should look less blurry but more ringing can be observed.

Would it be possible to use the Lanczos resizing algorithm for all of the cards in the new GUI, or is that too slow?

That was fast! I just found another bug as well. When I click quests, the win loss panel opens indicating that I've won 1 match and lost 1 match even though I haven't even chosen an opponent yet.Snacko wrote:It's already fixed in SVN.

This is using a fresh installation of the 7-31 version of Forge with no preferences changed. The quest data is imported from the 7-16 version and has been verified to be working properly in that version.

This is actually a really big and annoying bug... I've just fixed it on the SVN.

Thanks very much for the release.
I'm having some rendering issues with cards in the new GUI, but I expect you probably already know...
With the new GUI, It would be nice to have a couple of changes:
-Set a max size card render (maybe also a min) in the play window - the giant mana tokens at the beginning of a new game are silly.
-Play the opponents creatures and land in locations that mirror your play area, so that creatures "face off" against each other at the middle.
One thing I'd really really like to beg and plead for, is a game log window. You could clean up the wasted space in the "text card" on the top right, and create a game log window beneath it and above the large card picture. The "text card" is, IMHO, ugly. A simple few of lines of formatted text showing the oracle text would be much classier.
Thanks for all the hard work!
-Ben
PS - Found a bug. With Sapphire Leach in play, it's asking me to pay 2RB for psionic blast! Any other blue spell it also asks to pay an extra R - should be B, obviously.

I agree 100% with these comments. I actually prefer the GUI in the 7-16 version, but I see potential in the new GUI.Xitax wrote:With the new GUI, It would be nice to have a couple of changes:

I'm continually impressed by the development pace of this software. To reiterate, this has become my favorite game of all time. If the forge team ever decides to release a commercial product, it'll be an instant purchase for me, just because I want to help support this amazing team!DennisBergkamp wrote:This is actually a really big and annoying bug... Keep up the great work!

Dennis
Any chance you'll update the 7-31 beta with these fixes? The SVN doesn't work on my system.

Actually, I would, but my current local version of Forge is a bit messed up (I've been working on this: viewtopic.php?f=52&t=2907).SoulStorm wrote:Dennis

Maybe Chris or someone else could quickly export his JAR and post it?
