Closer to impossible would be Chaos Orb or Falling Star, but now I'm just picking nits.
Sure, Sorin's ultimate would probably require a complete overhaul of most of Forge but hey, I'm hopeful for Forge 2

Sorin's easy as long as the targeted player is the human.....
It's not as impossible as you may think. The AI hand could be presented as a choice list. Wherever the check is made to ignore the human's clicking on the AI cards could easily be changed to check for a Sorin flag....

but an ability played with sorin is nonetheless controlled by the computer, not the human, even though he made the decision

Mind you, I've got no clue how the AI could perform that ability... but I certainly think it's within reason for the human player. Not that I'm advocating another non AI-enabled card... though the first two abilities are perfectly acceptable, and the AI almost always picks first abilities.
The joke of saying that it's easy as long as the target is the human, is in the case of the human playing it against himself.

Any possibility of getting Mana Drain implemented?

Yes. Maybe, just maybe, today. Otherwise, late this weekend.
EDIT: Added. Turns out I misread the rules text (Upkeep != Main) so it was a little trickier than I thought but it worked in the cases I tested.

Not that weird, considering wolves usually flank their prey.
But as for banding... yeah, that's not my favorite mechanic either.

I'd bet no; I consider Mindslaver and Sorin Markov more doable than banding, to be honest...
(at least for my game, i think those are relatively doable)

Forge 07-31 includes Stalwart Shield-Bearers.
We may release the next beta this weekend.
