Well, that explains why you had so much land in your deck :p
Alpha: This felt almost like a mirror match, since both decks had a fairly similar strategy; get mana fast, and beat with fatties. I'm not sure which of the decks is stronger; they are quite evenly matched, though I think cheerios would own either of them.
Beta: I had some pretty bad luck with Brandon's deck in game 1 and especially in game 3, so I think other players will do a bit better than I did. I do think jatill's deck is a bit stronger in this matchup, though.
Gamma: I thought juzamjedi had the advantage over me here, but that proved not to be the case. Stone-Throwing Devils were awesome against Bloodghast and Vampire Hexmage on the ground. The flyers were hard to stop, too, and I don't think I ever got Vampire Nighthawk, which would have really helped there. The Old Man was pretty good in this matchup, too, since it could steal anything except the Bloodwitch.
Delta: Crystal Ball saved cognis's ass in game 2 Using it during my upkeep a bunch of times made sure I drew useful cards, and it would have been really painful otherwise. The AI made a few screwups with Monopoman's deck, but I think the scoring would've been the same even if it had been smarter. If humans were playing, I'd say this is a pretty even matchup, but Monopoman's deck takes more skill to play, and I think the AI might have an easier time with Cognis's deck.

I keep trying to update my custom manalink to include the cards in the decks, but it doesn't work for me. It goes through and tries to update each card and keeps replacing the card it added previously with the current card it's trying to import. What am I doing wrong here?

Nothing, it sometimes do that, as far as I observed it seems the more cards the editor says it has to add the lesser the chance it will work, besides the glitches that were fixed in limited still have problems in custom (for me at least), ex. Viscera Seer goes directly into the graveyard, Teramorphic Expanse freezes the game, it's just weird since we had many updates it's a possibility we all have slightly different versions of magic so it's hard to generalise what is wrong. Someone mentioned manalink 3.0 fresh install which would be a good idea because it would probably make bug removal easier since we would all have the same version.

A clean 3.0 would mean that only my2k is installed and no modification were done on custom because the only "update" that my2k do is make new and current decks playable which lies only on the user preferences (if you don't modify your current deck pool or have few to none custom deck the update is ultra fast).
The current trouble of my2k is still the cards replacement which seems to be common to everybody (when converting deck, m2k replace one card then switch the same one to one in the deck)

Round 3 is started. Be aware that rounds 3 and 4 only will last 4 days each instead of a full week.

For old school magic player it is great to see that jatill's Revised deck is succeeding. Pretty powerful cards in that set that they decided not to reprint anymore in main editions(at least not in 10 years or something). Highlight of this deck at least for me is Braingeyser, which often turned the tides for my favor. Another one that was indispensable was Control Magic(I think that was in 4th edition too). In my games Sengir Vampire was most useless card in this deck(but it had it's moments). Revised doesn't have much alternatives, but I would have probably used Royal Assassin or Juggernaut instead. Well, I think it worked good enough, it's in the finals.

Hmm, it suddenly occurs to me, why is there no Serendib Efreet in jatill's revised deck?

That is kind of amusing M11 vs. Alpha in the finals lol.
The first magic set goes up against the newest!!! Who will win!

Looks like monopman is the winner, and the new (M11) throws the old (Alpha) out the window. Please submit your prize requests by Thursday. Be mindful of the uncodeable cards.http://www.slightlymagic.net/wiki/Uncodeable_cards
