How many times downloaded?

Hey Incantus,
How many times has your app been downloaded? Considering the buzz surrounding the videos, and that this is the only place to get it, and that it could go away at any time, I'm a little surprised nobody has said thanks yet, or even commented, though I guess we are still a bit new. Can I post in the thread at MTG Salvation to come here?
Well, I want to say, thanks for sharing! I've enjoyed using it a great deal, though I still get lost sometimes. And if I come up with any specific recommendations I'll be sure to let you know.

Huggybaby is right.
I tried Incantus and i must say i'm really amazed. The interface is great, easy to use and understand, way better than anything i've seen until now.
And it works under wine too!
I hope you keep developing this fantastic piece of software. Thank you!

I was gonna try it out, but Mediafire hates me... or maybe it hates the program. Either way it wouldn't let me download it. It's sad cause it looks awesome.

Sorry, I keep deleting old versions as I update them with bug fixes, so i only have the latest on mediafire. Unfortunately I keep forgetting to post the new link.
I've updated the link on the main stickied post: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=467
I promise that this version will stay up until the next major release.
Huggybaby - is there any way you can change the maximum upload size for php (currently set at 2MB)? Then i could host it here.

Don pastor - it works under wine? Thats awesome. Incantus is written in pure python (on my very old Powerbook), and only requires the pyglet library (which basically wraps OpenGL and OS specific UI stuff), but i didn't imagine it would work in Wine.
Huggybaby - I think about 20 people have downloaded Incantus, although i haven't heard any feedback from anyone (except from people I sent it to directly). I kind of want to keep it small right now, since i'm not in a position to do any big time support. So i figure anybody who stumbles upon it on this site is welcome to try it.
Also, it seems like every week i have to redesign some aspect that changes the implementation of a sizable number of cards. Once the base rules engine has stabilized, i can release my card editor and internal docs (or even go open source) and let people go crazy filling in the rest of the cards.

Anything for you Incantus. I changed the limit to 5MB for now, but that is, of course, contingent upon GH's approval.

OK thanks. It should stay less than 5 MB (especially if I only update with a new .exe file).
You said you get lost sometimes? Anything I could make clearer?

I just need to use it more; when I can be more specific I'll let you know my sticking points.

Yeah, it seems i'm ping-ponging between wanting to release it wide and wanting to stay under the radar.Huggybaby wrote:Anything for you Incantus. I changed the limit to 5MB for now, but that is, of course, contingent upon GH's approval.

Don't forget, you can use your private forum. In the meantime, if someone mentions Incantus, I'll stay mum and suggest that they come here for more info, and sometimes I'll be even more discreet and say the same thing, but in a PM. I won't tell anyone that we have it specifically.
When we first started the HQ project it was kind of like that too.

Apparently, I'm just inept, because I can't figure out how to install this. Help please?

You may have an old version that was broken. Get the latest from the download incantus topic.

I think, but he's debugging right now. The last version wouldn't let you attack. oops
Probably should wait a bit, sorry.
