how to make hight quality when zoom out?

i make the pic of tdx with photoshop cs4,and save them in size 512*376 96DPI as png24 , it is fine when zoom in ,but sands alike when zoom out. why?
id compared them with the official, its just diffrent as 36and24 color deep.

hmn…i just read kev's post, and i found the key. i used photoshop to make png and used GIBBED TDXCONUERT to maket tdx file, that may be the problem.
i have only photoshop

Sorry for posting it here but i need a little help. I want to extract and collect all the card artworks from duels of the planeswalkers 2012. I extracted the DATA_CORE.WAD but the files are now in an unknown format called .tdx. How can i convert these to for example .JPEG or .GIF pictures.
I know someone extracted them because i saw Skirsdag Cultist artwork.
Or can someone extract them? Please
