It is unlikely that the devs will add such a feature. There are other apps on this web site which will allow you to play online. The app "OPT" and a couple of other apps may provide such a feature. :D

I don't speak for Forge at all, but AFAIK and how I personally feel, human v human play is, if not excluded, very far off into the future. The focus is on Cards,AI and Interface in no particular order.

Magarena, MAGE, JPortal(I think), Incantus and probably more on the site do provide this feature though. :)

Do they have rules enforcement though? I know that BotArena has multiplayer and has rules enforcement (and a lot of cards coded)

We might end up with AI vs AI before we ever do Human vs Human.

Feature request for Bazaar: Pet Shop

I would like to suggest a change to the text in the pet shop:

Current example:
Crocodile Pet
Gives swampwalk to your pet
Level 4: 3/1 Swampwalk
Cost: 600 credits

Suggest:
Crocodile Pet
Current level: 3 - 3/1
Next level: 3/1 Swampwalk
Cost: 600 credits

Current example:
Bird Pet
Level 1: 0/1 Flying
Next Level: 1/1
Can learn: first strike
Cost: 200 credits

Suggest:
Bird Pet
Not currently owned
Next level: 1 - 0/1 Flying
Level 2: 1/1 Flying
Can learn: First strike
Cost: 200 credits

The idea is to make it clear what your pet's current level is and stop using "next level" for what is really 2 levels ahead.

EDIT 2/7: Also with regard to the bazaar, unless there is a plan to add more items in each of the categories, there's not much reason to have so many, or maybe put them all into one.

EDIT 2/8: Quest mode again - Every time I visit the card shop or deck builder, the set of opponents changes - I think it would be more interesting to force you to play one of the three not allowing munchkin tactics like cherrypicking until you find your preferred opponent.

Also, I would never purchase estate management training because a 1% increase in sell price isn't very attractive. If this gets bigger with multiple buys, then *maybe* but it would be better at 5%.

I would really like the number of cards available for purchased to be increased. There are currently almost 7000 card in forge and it can be tough to purchase cards that are good for your deck when you see 20 cards a match and you see the same terrible portal or portal three kingdoms cards all the time. Even if you saw 100 cards at the store it would be so much easier to make your deck.

We could probably turn that into a Bazaar item. It probably wouldn't be bad to start with more, although I think 100 is too many to start.

Maybe we could boost the starting available cards up to 30 or so (2 packs), and an additional pack if you pay 100 bucks for each pack already available (200 to upgrade to 3 packs, 300 to upgrade to 4) with a maximum of 5/6 packs maybe?

You know me, I like to play constructed decks in Quest mode so I say the more the merrier. I would say a max of 15 packs just have the extra packs after 5 start costing an arm and a leg.

I think the price to expand the number of packs per card shop visit must be carefully calculated. At early stages of quest, you barely have cash to buy the limited fodders, so you'll be basically investing in something that makes your investment better.

Also, as far as I know, Quest mode already increases the number of packs as the number of matches increases. There are times (with 300 or 400 matches) that I get like 10 packs available on card shop.

Quest definitely increases your select as you get further in, but not everyone runs their matches that far. It's definitely a careful balancing act, which is why I say not to allow 100 cards from the beginning.

Another option which may be possible with all the setinfo work done and ongoing is to allow the purchase of a booster pack from a specific set. Or even letting you start the quest with starters from a specific set.

This would increase the odds of getting cards you want, without resorting to a flood of cards.

That's exactly where it will be going. My first step is making set boosters, then make quest mode CARE about set-specific data, then make quest mode use the set boosters, then finally, implementing the sale of boosters in the shop and restricting the quest to particular formats.

I wish there was a prefrences file for the opponent. I would like to increase my opponents life to 40 or increase the cards drawn per turn or permanents that the AI or player starts with. That could allow scenarios or challenges.
