Hi Jeff,
For the Awakener Druid attached is an image of the playfield on another test game I just tried. I added the red boxes to show where the white space opens up with the creatures that I thought the 4/5 forest would move up to. At least in this game the 4/5 forest was pulled out of the stack of regular forests (in my previous game it was not). Other than the unexpected placement this card does work perfectly fine function wise.

I just downloaded the beta and this works just fine. So there was a recent change that broke Flashback. Anyone think they were in the area that might have caused it?jeffwadsworth wrote:Edit: Roar of the Wurm: The flashback button shows the number of cards with flashback in it, but when opened, "no cards" are there.

Very true
I just found it confusing since the blank card space opened up where the creatures were. If this is the normal behavior case closed (I'll remember next time)
Thanks again for an awesome program!

After going back and testing the latest beta, it's more apparent that these changes are loading the game faster for sure. It was just not as noticeable without doing a side-by-side test on my system.friarsol wrote:The first time it launched it was slower than normal, with the Deck Editor definitely being slower. Second time it was about the same as it had been before that.Braids wrote:would someone please let me know if r10519 loads any faster than usual? thanks.

So now you're
Screaming for the blood of the cookie monster
Evil puppet demon of obesity
Time to change the tune of his fearful ballad
C is for "Lettuce," that's good enough for me

Currently, some work is being done to reduce the heap space needed by forge. The LAF jars were removed, not sure if we will get them back or not in the future. It would be best at this time to not change your LAF.

Not sure if we'll get them back? Seriously? I have to be honest and say that sucks. I can't stand the white background. Thanks for the information though Chris.

@SoulStorm, how comfortable are you with editing forge's startup script and/or your system's CLASSPATH? i think if we made the LNF jars available separately, you might be able to tweak these settings to use them. maybe. what Operating System are you running?SoulStorm wrote:Not sure if we'll get them back? It may may be possible to give people the ability to set a preference for the color used in the panels. We at some point could let people choose orange, purple, brown, etc and at the same time consume less heap space.
I can not predict how this will turn out except to say that java heap space errors and slow downs which make the game unplayable are probably a bigger concern at this time.
Braids and Dave are far more knowledgeable about these things than myself. I think that forge is in good hands and everything will work out in the end.
