It wasn't until I had finished the deck that I realized that some of these creatures would be dwarfs, humans, goblins, etc. Most of these creatures are red, would it make sense to replace the second Coat of Arms with a Gauntlet of Might?

If the computer can not make use of the extra mana that might not be too much of a hinderance.
To increase synergy you can reduce the creature types to just barbarians (Balthor the Stout and Coat of Arms would have maximum effect). This would also make the deck mono red (unless you want to splash black) and enable a full powered Gauntlet of Might.

I have tried to make a few adjustments using your suggestions. I thought that I could have Barbarians and Changelings for creatures. This would maximize the Balthor the Stout cards.

I felt that the deck could have Runed Stalactite as an equipment and this combined with the Changelings would make a powerful combo with the Lovisa Coldeyes cards.

It looks like Changelings only get a single instance of +2/+2 for the Lovisa Coldeyes. They do not pump up as big as I thought that they might.

Yes, Lovisa Coldeyes (and Coat of Arms) will only pump each creature only once. Having just Barbarians will max out both.

I guess that if we are to also have a tier 3 variant it might be best then to remove the Gauntlet of Might and add in a couple of those large non-red changelings.

I don't think we should aim for tier 3 with only two legendary lords. I also think Lovisa Coldeyes is too swingy for tier 1. She can turn the game around easily.

I made a new medium deck. It's centered around Urza's Armor, Sphere of Purity and Angelheart Vial and tries to kill without creatures.

| Open
The Thing 2
[general]
constructed
[main]
10 Plains
4 Mystifying Maze
4 Kabira Crossroads
1 Desert
1 Maze of Ith
1 Gods' Eye, Gate to the Reikai
1 Karakas
2 The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale
2 Pristine Talisman
4 Urza's Armor
4 Sphere of Purity
4 Angelheart Vial
3 Armageddon Clock
4 Copper Tablet
3 Razor Pendulum
4 Ankh of Mishra
3 Scourglass
2 Day of Judgment
2 March of Souls
1 Wrath of God
[sideboard]

You have to be careful not to overextend against it.

This is one of Corwin's icons. Were you thinking of the comic book or the horror movie?

Yes, I was thinking of the comic character (I'm not so much into horror movies). Thanks Chris.

How's your barabarian deck coming along Chris?

We should thank Corwin for finding the icon. :)

I have not finished the Barabarian decks. I have been sidetracked. Real life plus the AF_Attach and SA conversions.

I guess that I should finish them off today. 8)

Looks good to me. Maybe some of the creatures are a little bit too powerful (now that we had some complains about the rising power level). But I won't mind.
`
Some of those barbarians and changelings expect that the AI will discard a card. That may help to tone it down. Looking at this list I see that the Chameleon Colossus is still in the deck. I thought that I replaced it with a weaker card. That I can fix.

EDIT:

I should be able to tone it down a wee bit.
