Game Not Saving? Quest Glitch?
by tsilver33 » 12 Aug 2011, 21:55
Alright, I've just recently downloaded forge and already I am running into issues. I'm not sure if one issue is related to another, but any help solving the problem would be appreciated.
First, I've noticed the game doesn't save when I close out the window. The display settings don't save, quest data isn't there, and the low quality card pictures don't appear, forcing me to re-download them.
Second, while making a deck in the deck editor during quest mode, cards I've already put into my deck will re-appear in my available cards section if I set the filter to not include the card, then reinclude. If I were to, say, move Evolving Wilds into my deck, then change the filter to not include land cards, then changed it to once again include it, Evolving Wilds would appear in the available section and I could put a second into my deck.

Update: Alright, I discovered my mistake for the saving issue, I hadn't extracted the files first.
However, the card's re-appearing problem remains. Any help with this issue, even if it's just pointing out a simple mistake i'm making, would be greatly appreciated.

The devs are aware of the filtering bug in the quest mode deck editor. It is on the to do list but has not yet been resolved. People should avoid filtering while in the quest mode deck editor for the time being.

"That is the dumbest thing I've ever seen." --Rob Cashwalker, regarding Innistrad double-sided cards. One of the first times he and I have ever agreed on something.

It's such an old bug, we don't need Mantis for it.... It's just known.... Besides, it's essentially covered by the feature request to integrate the deck editors, which at this point, would solve the issue.Braids wrote:is there a record in Mantis for this bug? i can't find it.

We all dream of the day when the deck editors are integrated in to a single class.
