Multiple Quest Sessions?
by Rob Cashwalker » 30 Aug 2011, 16:35
While working on the new NewGame screen, I realized that quest mode wouldn't make use of a scroll area for deck selection. So I started wondering how crazy an idea it would be to implement multiple quest sessions. By "session," I just mean a unique instance of the quest data. So from the (new) new game screen, you could select your "John" character's quest, then quest mode loads with the data from "john.qst"; select your "Jane" character and quest mode loads "jane.qst". For example, your "John" character is a realistic quest, about 30 wins. You like playing the decks in that cardpool, but you're itching to try another quest in fantasy mode.. So instead of wiping out the old data, you can create a new character, "Jane"....
Thoughts? Crazy?

3 Save Slots has worked for Nintendo for years. I feel that's a safe amount to emulate without making the UI bloated.

A lot of users (and me) would appreciate having multiple quests at the same time. I think we have some requests requesting this in the feature request threat.
