Forge Beta: 11-25-2011 ver 1.1.8 rev 12235

9745 cards in total.
When a spell or an ability appears on the stack and it says "(OPTIONAL)" you can right-click it to decide if you want to always accept or to decline it.
The JuzamJedi cube has been updated with a newer list of cards.
The Forge archive includes a readme.txt file and we ask that you spend a few minutes reading this file as it contains some information that may prove usefull. We do tend to update this file at times and you should quickly read this file and look for new information for each and every new release. Thank you.
We have changed the archival format used for the Forge distributions from ".zip" to ".tar.bz2". There are utilities for Windows, Mac OS and the various *nix's that can be used to decompress these ".tar.bz2" archives. We recommend that you decompress the Forge archive into a new and unused folder.

Thank you for putting up the beta Chris.
Here are a few open problems that we know of (and which do not need to be reported):
- Morphes are not displayed in a user friendly way at the moment.
- Phylactery Lich will not work for the human player.
- Skinshifter, Energy Chamber, Relic Bind and Varchild's War-Riders will be buggy when their abilities are used more than once.
- The ability of Horde of Notions does not work.
- Many more things I can't remember right now.
AI changes to watch out for:
- Some spells with X in their mana costs have been enabled for the AI. Please report any stupidities you notice (such as casting them with X=0).
- The assault code of the AI has been improved (when victory for the AI is on the board).

Well, here's a quick bug I can't report via game client.
I had Phantasmal Image copy Mudbutton Torchrunner, and both died due to a Day of Judgement; but, I only got one 'death' trigger for the 3 damage ability. I'm guessing this happens to all 'put into a graveyard' triggers Phantasmal Image might be copying, but I couldn't verify.
Also, the game crashes when I try to copy any of my Quest tokens with Phantasmal Image (or was it Phyrexian Metamorph? Gah...), apparently because they're not on the actual Cards list? Not sure. I'll try to do it again so I can actually send the crash report this time, since I closed it accidentally last time.
Edit: Chandra, the Firebrand -2 ability didn't work at all when I used it to copy Volt Charge.
Edit2: Returning creatures that enter the battlefield as a copy of other creatures from the graveyard to play still doesn't work. At least not with the Sheoldred, Whispering One ability.

Hi, I'm new of the forum.
First of all sorry of my english, i'm italian
Second i found this program a few day ago and it's great
I found some bugs (i don't know if you already know its):
the card "animate dead" and "dance of the dead" crash if it came into battlefield not from the hand for example if i use the famous combo "animated dead" + "worldgorger dragon" the program crash.
if i attack with "Caustic Wasps" and another creatures with an abilities that goes on the stack when it does damage (for example a creature with lifelink) and the opponent don't have an artifact all the ability on the stack don't do anything
In a pc of my friend with win 7 when i start forge i see only the two combobox to much long and i can't see the other button and i can't play what can i do? thanks Gianluca

This is actually the correct place to post bugs discovered while playing with this beta. We started trying to do this to isolate which version bugs are related to and to curb monster threads. Ideally only bugs discovered in the nightly builds should be posted in the bugs thread. Any version can post bugs to the issue tracker via the in-game bug/crash report feature. The deck editor rarity for Sporoloth Ancient shows rare although it's a common, also the Ai Condemn my Ludevic's Abomination and i only gained 3 life instead of 13, the flipped card toughness.

Engineered Explosives is such a sweet addition. I also love Snapcaster Mage even though I understand why it is not AI playable. I posted another cube update in the drafting thread with a lot of improvements.
