this 1.2.1 snapshot is so far excellent in responsiveness. The memory usage starts at 300m and increases to 600m, but never goes above that (I think). 1.2.0 was going to 1GB in 2-3 matches and that was the point where it started becoming unresponsive.

Did the bug have anything to do with the card size in play area option? It no longer works.

Don't think so. But I do think this now works in SVN.

@serrasmurf, and others - I've been away for a few weeks so sorry for late replies.

Thanks for clarifying the wrist thing, now that I think about it you're right. I usually use "enter" to fire that button so I hardly ever mouse over there...

Also, I'd been developing so much I hadn't had time for much playtesting. Now I have and I see what you mean a bit.

Regarding your comment, the main problem I noticed was that during combat, the combat panel is shown automatically, although there's still stuff on the stack, so one must switch to the stack to see things. I'll see if this can't be done better.

Tome scour isn't working for me, and also some other milling cards aren't working as well. I really like the new interface though

edit: also after you win a game, you can press okay and then it gets stuck in a loop of just your turn

edit2: phylactery liche isn't working for me either, i put the counter on darksteel sentinel and it still sacrificed

edit3: but when i put another liche out, it recognized the counter the first one put on the sentinel. Maybe it's checking for the counter too early?

is there an option to turn on card borders? my cards on the battlefield have borders, but on the right hand side where you see the card blown up, i am getting no borders because all of my card pics are hq and cropped as to fit inside of premade borders, like on the older versions of forge.
help plz? my cards look stupid now.

A lot of time and effort have gone into fixing the memory leak problems that were recently noticed and reported to the dev team. Doublestrike and Slapshot deserve our applause and we are very thankful. People should be able to now play long multi match sessions without noticing slow downs and pauses.

We have a new snapshot build for our testers to try out this weekend. We would appreciate any responses from our testers in reference to the old memory leak plus slowdown issues. If things are now better please let us know. :)

There's a problem with handling Piston Sledge.

I played quest challange "Reactor Meltdown" where all artifacts have shroud. Both my opponent and me we only had artifact creatures.
Since I forgot for a second that shroud fact I wanted to play Piston Sledge which has to be attached to a creature immediately after casting.

For casting a living weapon you have to pay the mana. Then it is successfully cast but for Piston Sledge I had to attach it to a creature for finishing the software routine. Since there was no valid target for the artifact I only could quit the whole forge.

Was that using the daily build that Chris just released? I'm guessing so. The problem is that its not a full beta release so has some unfinished/unstable code. ArsenalNut is working on code that allows equipment and aura's to attach as a subability (as with Piston Sledge). It will allow for a veritable slew of new cards, but is as yet unfinished.

No it was the forge-1.2.0 from the first page, not the forge-1.2.1-20120113.122344-17 (this page 3 posts above).

But it occurred within the mac os x version. So in windows environment I didn't try to reproduce.
