So If I understand correctly DCI and FNM series are over? Now they became Gateway/Game Day/something else without custom numbers?

They changed how they do the numbers, but the card series still exist. FNM for 2012 is now just "1/12 FNM" instead of "1/12 F12" but the (c) date is 2012 for the whole year, so whatever.
The DCI series was mostly Gateway and Gameday, and they were changed to match what they do for Buy-a-Box promos and prerelease/release promos, which is just "*123/456" where the regular version of the card is "123/456"
Similar to FNM cards, the Judge Gift cards now read "1/8 Judge" instead of "1/8 G12" and the (c) date is 2012.

The "DCI" series includes:

• Gateway
• Dauntless Dourbark is an odd one out that is considered as a Champs promo but fits at the end of the Gateway sequence. Go figure.
• Wizards Play Network - A rebrand of the Gateway programme that cleaned up differences between the Arena and Gateway programmes in other countries
• Game Day - These have been foil versions with a star next to the collector number, full alternate art foil and non-foil, full extended art foil and non-foil, and soon to be full alternate art foil and non-foil but in semi-transparent text boxes including set rarity symbol. Previously these were in the same DCI numbered series. As of Dark Ascension, these will no longer be in the same sequence and will have their own distinctive look
• Promo Planes & Schemes - These have been part of the "DCI" series until now and have been part of the sequential numbering. Going forwards I suspect that these will also be separated and have a new numbering system. If this is the case, the "DCI" sequenced series will only be left with WPN promos

The Buy-A-Box Promos have never been part of the "DCI" series and thankfully have enough differentiating marks to distinguish from the other promos: A starred collector number, 5 mana symbols (or faction watermark), alternate art, foil, and Buy-a-Box (recently).

FNM have always been separate and remain so but have the shooting star set symbol.

All promo series now have the shooting star symbol and text box background. This applies to FNM, WPN and Judge. Game Day, Buy-A-Box, Prerelease and Release promos are consider set specific promos and will always have their set logo from now on. Dates are now back on the Prerelease and Release promos btw.

I'm not a fan of the fact that FNM and Judge promos now don't have the year in their promo name anymore so you have to always keep checking the copyright line to be sure. WPN, Gateway & Judge foils all lost that distinctive DCI logo watermark and FNM cards lost their distinctive FNM watermark. I'm not a fan of the changes, and the interim ones that including the FNM on the artwork, but I do hope they've finally settled into a stable system now.

I have found someone with a JSS Glorious Anthem for trade at MOTL: http://www.magictraders.com/ubb/Forum2/HTML/240740.html.

They said they'd rather trade than sell it, and that it is NM and numbered 1/3. I don't have anything they'd part with it for, but maybe someone here could work something out - and post an HQ scan of the card if they acquire it!

Sorry extreme. I'll clean the acetate sheet next time too. It just lives in my scanner with the lid closed. I did clean the glass surface again this time, but I know how mediocre these LED scanners are for foils.
