Forge Beta: 01-20-2012 ver 1.2.2 rev 13318
(Quest icons used created by Teekatas, from his Legendora set http://raindropmemory.deviantart.com)
9951 cards in total.
Several people have noticed a crash report stating that "Buffers have not been created". We hope to have this fixed in the near future. It has been pointed out that:
"Parts of Swing use EventQueue by themselves, this means your Swing code executes in main thread part executes in EDT and as Swing isn't thread safe this leads to elusive errors like this. One of the reasons of this error is that the frame might not be fully constructed before buffers are created -> race condition between the threads."
The Forge archive includes a readme.txt file and we ask that you spend a few minutes reading this file as it contains some information that may prove usefull. We do tend to update this file at times and you should quickly read this file and look for new information for each and every new release. Thank you.
We have changed the archival format used for the Forge distributions from ".zip" to ".tar.bz2". There are utilities for Windows, Mac OS and the various *nix's that can be used to decompress these ".tar.bz2" archives. We recommend that you decompress the Forge archive into a new and unused folder.
Added pre-release cards to DKA cardfolder branch:

We recommend everyone upgrade from 1.2.1 to resolve a crash that was occurring during payment of certain costs (Upkeep etc) that slipped in just before release of the last beta.

One of my new favorite cards Mitotic Manipulation went from working to broken in 1.2.1 and is still broken in 1.2.2. Basically it reveals the top 7 cards from your deck, and you can play one that matches a permanent and put the rest at the bottom. Well it forces you to put the card you chose at the bottom in this build. I've tried X'ing out before it makes me but it does not, so it is currently broken.

Did it for sure work in 1.2.0?lugaru wrote:One of my new favorite cards Mitotic Manipulation went from working to broken in 1.2.1 and is still broken in 1.2.2. Just loaded up on 1.2.0 (I have like the last 5 builds on my desktop) and I got it to work once but that was it. The other times I was forced to put the permanent I chose at the bottom of the deck. I guess 1.2.1 did not break it, I just had better luck during the previous build.slapshot5 wrote:Did it for sure work in 1.2.0?lugaru wrote:One of my new favorite cards Mitotic Manipulation went from working to broken in 1.2.1 and is still broken in 1.2.2. Hmm. I see the problem. I works the first time, but not after that. It looks like some internal list isn't getting cleared based on the card ids that are displaying. Not sure exactly what the fix will entail at this point.lugaru wrote:Just loaded up on 1.2.0 (I have like the last 5 builds on my desktop) and I got it to work once but that was it.
