Question regarding booster draft
by jnieman » 13 Feb 2012, 23:59
Hello,
I recently came across this program and thought It would be great because it would allow me to do booster drafts of many sets, unlike the old Duels of the Plainswalkers that only allowed sealed deck tournaments of the old school sets. Upon winning the first round of the booster draft, I was not given an option to continue on to the next round. I thought I did thorough searching for a reason why, but I cannot find an answer.
So, my question is: Is there a way to play more than one round or to complete the entire tournament while playing the booster draft mode or is it only possible to play the first round and be done for?
Thank you.

Tournaments are not implemented at the moment.
However the deck you've drafted is saved, so that you can play a duel against any other AI player from that draft.

I agree with Max. I will usually play my draft deck against all of the AI decks. If you wanted to pretend it's a tournament you could just play against 3 at random instead of all opponents.

I would love a Tournament mode, as drafting is pretty much all I do in forge now-a-days. But I understand that I'm in a minority as most people seems to do that questing thing which I don't.
User experience, make or break. MtG drafting is fun.

I also do a lot of drafting. You might not have heard but there is an ongoing project to make the AI's draft more intelligently using pick data from humans!
