We have a new skin by WompWomp named "Firebloom" included in this version.

The avatar-switch bug at runtime should now be fixed.

The quest mode plant wall's Deathtouch ability was deemed to be too strong against the AI's attack code and this ability was changed to Wither in this version. There are plans to make further adjustments to the pets as part of the upcoming forge 1.2.7 release.


The Forge archive includes a readme.txt file and we ask that you spend a few minutes reading this file as it contains some information that may prove usefull. We do tend to update this file at times and you should quickly read this file and look for new information for each and every new release. Thank you.

We have changed the archival format used for the Forge distributions from ".zip" to ".tar.bz2". There are utilities for Windows, Mac OS and the various *nix's that can be used to decompress these ".tar.bz2" archives. We recommend that you decompress the Forge archive into a new and unused folder.

Some people use the Windows application 7zip. This utility can be found at http://www.7-zip.org/download.html. Mac users can double click on the archive and the application Archive Utility will launch and extract the archive. Mac users do not need to download a separate utility.

Thanks Chris. Looks like I misspelled Kjeldoran Elite Guard and Duskwalker when I added their changelog descriptions (just in case you want to make their hover effect work in the list). :mrgreen:

I found something in this new version of Forge.

I think radiance does not work anymore. I have Fungusaur and Fungus Sliver in play and tap Wojek Embermage to deal damage to Fungusaur. Only the ability of Fungusaur triggers, Fungus Sliver does nothing, so i guess it did not get any damage from Wojek Embermage.
I don't know if all cards with the radiance ability are broken, or only a problem with Wojek Embermage?

EDIT:
Computer used Nantuko Vigilante to target my indestructible Stuffy Doll.

I think the problem is with Fungus Sliver, not radiance or Wojek Embermage. There's no space between Fungus and Sliver in subtypes which is causing the game not to recognize it as a sliver and therefore it gets no sliver bonuses. Its ability is still passed on to other slivers, just not itself it seems.

I'm running into a bug with reduce creature mana cost cards like Goblin Warchief. It will reduce the mana cost of ALL spells, not just the creature type it affects. For example, with 1 Goblin Warchief in play, I can cast Searing Wind for 7R, and with 4 Goblin Warchief I could cast it for 4R. Flashback costs are also affected, but not Suspend costs. I've checked this with other cards like Krosan Warchief, Bosk Banneret, and they're all affected.
This bug doesn't seem to affect reduce cost of color spells cards like Grand Arbiter Augustin IV, these work as intended.

- When a Spitebellows animated by my Scion of Darkness dies, AI choose the target for it's ability

Phyrexian Metamorph and Phantasmal Image fail to copy a creature when they enter the battlefield from any zone other than your hand.

This applies to birthing pod, unburial rights, sun titan, etc.

All card that have a "When this card is put into a graveyard" trigger will trigger for the owner instead of the last controller. Its a current bug with last known information.

Is there any chance we could get the option to change the color scheme of the deck editor back? The bright white makes playing on my monitor a pain at night.

The old LAFs were not compatible with the new UI and had to be abbandoned. The last stage of the new UI work should involve new deck editors that use the new UI and they may be set up differently.
