A few requests:
- The DLC prefix is very usefull. Can you add the ability to filter by it?.
- "Clear all filters" should empty the search text box and reset the color filters too.
- Multiple Selection to add/remove/reposition would be cool too.
- Sort by converted mana cost in unlocks, deck, and main list

The lights then came up and the crowd erupted in applause, because that's what the crowd does after it watches destruction on a large screen.

I actually don't like it myself.I'd suggest to make it as an option, if possible, or remove it totally. Without it, it was possible to press a key to scroll the list to the pressed letter.
So you like the DLC prefix ... might do what thefiremind suggested and make this an option ...- The DLC prefix is very usefull. Can you add the ability to filter by it?.

Will look at "clear all filters" because it should be doing what you mentioned ... thanks!
I might try to squeeze multiple selection to add/remove/reposition and sorting by converted mana cost in the cards ( main ) list in ... don't have much more time to spend on this and trying to make sure bugs are fixed first, obviously
Sorting by converted mana cost in the deck and unlock lists would affect the order they are written to the deck / unlock XML if the deck is saved ( since they are written in the exact order as they appear in the lists ). Not sure if this is a big deal for you but might be for others. Anyone else want to chime in?

I would like to have a command for sorting the cards in the deck I'm editing, too. The order type doesn't matter: converted mana cost is good for me as alphabetical, because I would use the ordering for shifting cards. For example if I added 2 specific cards in a deck but then I realize I want 3 of them, in order to keep them together I have to delete the previous group of 2 and add a new group of 3... this is quite annoying.

Did you know you can change the order of cards in the deck? By hold Shift and either hitting "up arrow" or "down arrow" ... other shortcuts can be viewed by looking at Tools > Shortcuts ...For example if I added 2 specific cards in a deck but then I realize I want 3 of them, in order to keep them together I have to delete the previous group of 2 and add a new group of 3... this is quite annoying.

Also, since the card ( main ) list can be filtered by converted mana cost, do we really need to sort by converted mana cost?

The name "shortcuts" should imply that there are "longer ways" (menu items and/or interface buttons) that do the same things...jstauffer wrote:Did you know you can change the order of cards in the deck? Now that I know it, I'm out of the discussion about sorting... I'll let you and pcastellazzi decide by yourselves.

I'm kind of thinking about re-working the Deck Stats form ( accessible by right-clicking on the Deck Info button )where instead of just showing the # of cards by converted mana cost it would show what cards they were as well ...

Lol, sorry about that. Yeah, I planned on adding that functionality to the right-click menu in the Deck card list but never got around to it but since I'm working on stuff now anyways ...The name "shortcuts" should imply that there are "longer ways" (menu items and/or interface buttons) that do the same things... I never paid attention to the shortcuts because I was sure I could access everything from the menus.

Converted mana cost was a suggestion, alphabetically is ok too. The idea is just to find duplicated cards easily. More often than not you add a 2 cards, the you add another bunch, and then you forgot about the first two and add them again.jstauffer wrote:Also, since the card ( main ) list can be filtered by converted mana cost, do we really need to sort by converted mana cost?
I think the best solution would be to add a column with the number of instances and some options in the menu to add and remove instances, some buttons too, but i am guessing replacing the current UI with tables is not exactly a trivial task.

Another bug i found recently is when you "send content" the current deck is closed.
Also checking for updates can be cancelled, quite annoying when your wireless connection fails.

This isn't actually a "bug" per se. When you click Send Content if there are changes to the current deck that haven't been saved it should ask if you want to save changes ( if there are no changes then it won't prompt ). Either way the deck is closed during the process. I can see about opening it back up afterwards though.Another bug i found recently is when you "send content" the current deck is closed.
I'll see about allowing you to abort the process ( clicking the X on the progress dialog window ) for Updating.Also checking for updates can be cancelled, quite annoying when your wireless connection fails.

Actually, you were right ... this was a bug since it was supposed to bring the deck back up afterwards but there was a coding error. Thanks!This isn't actually a "bug" per se. Whats up with deck saving and importing taking up to 30 seconds between loading dialog boxes and writing to files? The old version was nothing.

I just found a bug in the automatic ordering of the sub-types. Look at what I obtained with a Creature - Merfolk Wizard:
- Code: Select all
<TYPE metaname="Creature" />
<SUB_TYPE metaname="Merfolk" order_de-DE="0" order_es-ES="0" order_fr-FR="0" order_it-IT="0" order_jp-JA="0" />
<SUB_TYPE metaname="Wizard" order_de-DE="1" order_es-ES="-1" order_fr-FR="1" order_it-IT="-1" order_jp-JA="1" />

I don't have any issues like this nor have any been reported, besides you. In fact, at least on my machine everything is actually faster than before.Whats up with deck saving and importing taking up to 30 seconds between loading dialog boxes and writing to files? The old version was nothing.
Can anyone else confirm this?
