Also-- I wish I had more details, but my most recent game ended in a loss, yet I was offered five booster packs successively. Is there a file that has details I can post that might help demystify this?

Fixed. Thanks cc-drake!cc-drake wrote: Veteran's Armaments have onlyin their text description.Whenever a Soldier creature enters the battlefield, you may attach Veteran's Armaments to it.
Equip 2: (Attach to target creature you control. Equip only as a sorcery.)
Devour uses a multi-select box (Ctrl-click as many creatures as you want - or whatever the equivalent is on your OS). I'll look at adding remender text to the message.againsth3grain wrote:As Skullmulcher comes into play, I am only allowed to sacrifice one creature.
Is this a problem for all creatures with the devour function?
If it helps, Soul of the Harvest 's ability was being triggered as in entered the battlefield.

Re: No filter in deck editor

Emfatic wrote:On my computer screen, with the default editor layout, no tabs are hidden. The filter tab just wasn't there anymore. I deleted the editor_preferred.xml file and the filter tab now displays correctly.
I'm uploading both of my bad editor layout files. The one named bad is the first one that completely crashed on me, so I had to remove it. Before it crashed, I noticed that there was no button to remove a card from my deck. Notice the editor does not even open. The second one is the one I've been talking about in this entry. You'll see that not only is it missing the filter tab, it is also missing the deck creation tab.
Thank you Emfatic for the additional info.
Several people have reported a problem where the deck editors/card shop would not open and display. Missing tabs appear to be a new problem.

Computer uses Control Magic on my Stuffy Doll. When the computer activates Stuffy Doll i take the damage. Even though the computer now controls Stuffy Doll, it should still deal the damage to the chosen player which is the computer.
The text on screen display "Whenever damage is dealt to Stuffy Doll, it deals that much damage to your opponent." On the card itself it says it deals the damage to the chosen player.
EDIT:
another funny thing just happened.
I have Myojin of Cleansing Fire in play. Computer takes control of it with Persuasion. I only have 1 Myojin of Cleansing Fire in my deck, but suddenly there is another one in my hand. I use Swords to Plowshares on the one the computer now controls, but nothing happens. I then use Umezawa's Jitte 6 times to make Myojin of Cleansing Fire -6/-6. Now the Myojin on the battlefield dies and the one that suddenly appeared in my hand is on the battlefield, enchanted by Persuasion is -2/0. At end of turn it becomes 4/6 again and remains in play
Now there is a Myojin on the battlefield and one in my graveyard, both with the same card ID.

Not in the habit of advertising my own posts, but I think my query at the top of this page might have been missed. If there is no such file with helpful information, please let me know!

Without more details, there's not really a way to track it down. How many wins did you have?schnautzr wrote:Not in the habit of advertising my own posts, but I think my query at the top of this page might have been missed. If there is no such file with helpful information, please let me know!

Okay, thanks then. I had 0 wins, and as I accepted each booster pack, I saw cards on the computer's playing field being tapped between clicks. I don't remember the details, but I know the opponent was using cards that caused damage at strange times that were out of battle.
I'll be sure and take notes next time I see this happen.

I've got two more issues to report:
1. I am unable to right click a blocker to undo a block action. Right clicking does nothing. (Note that right clicking does undo an attack action however.)
Edit: After further testing, I found that if works if I right click the creature I'm blocking, not the blocker. Maybe the just the wording in the prompt needs to be changed.
2. If I'm viewing the Combat tab, then switch to view another tab in the same area, then return to the Combat tab, the text that was in the Combat tab has disappeared.

I'm attaching a crash report. This happened when Cryptoplasm targeted an opponent's creature (Scornful Egotist) that was enchanted by a copy (Copy Enchantment) of Crystallization. Cryptoplasm was to copy it, but because of Crystallization, Scornful Egotist was removed from the game, which was first in the stack.
Even though a crash report was created, the duel continued correctly, with Cryptoplasm remaining as a copy of Scornful Egotist (it had already copied this creature from a previous round), and Scornful Egotist was removed from the game.
The only remaining issue is that the Copy Enchantment card (that had been copying Crystallization targeting the Scornful Egotist) remained in play as simply Copy Enchantment. Perhaps this is correct behaviour, but I thought that it would have been destroyed when Scornful Egotist left play.

Perhaps people have missing tabs and don't know it. I'm new to the program and am now wondering if I'm missing anything that should be there. For instance, I thought there was some button in the top left corner of the quest duel page that let me go to a page where I purchased a plant to add to my duels (I'm pretty sure I used this once when I first started the program), but that feature is no longer there. I just see a spell shop button. Was I imagining it?Chris H. wrote:Several people have reported a problem where the deck editors/card shop would not open and display. The quest mode Duels view should have a Bazaar button below the Spell Shop button.
Try extracting a forge archive into a new and unused folder and then launch forge and see if everything looks OK.

Here's my view of the quest mode duels. Notice I'm missing the Bazaar button, the life total, the line above the deck about next challenge, all the icons and the menu items at the bottom. The Challenges view is also missing the same stuff.Chris H. wrote:The quest mode Duels view should have a Bazaar button below the Spell Shop button.

So I extracted the forge archive into a new folder, ran forge.exe and noticed that the only improvement is that the duels view now shows the Bazaar button, life total and line above the deck. But the icons and menu items at the bottom are still missing. In the Challenges view, I now see the icons as well as the Bazaar button, life total and line above the deck. Is there supposed to be a menu at the bottom of the Challenges view?
Uh, that image is from last night. Now, in the old installation, the credits icon is gone too (on the Duels view only).
What more information do you need to track this issue down?
By the way, what's the life total for? I start out with 20 life in all my quest duels. Also, what's fantasy mode?
