HQ PICS DOWNLOADS and Status List (MTG)

Would anyone happen to have HQ crops of these missing sets:

I've checked all torrents and links I could find plus the awesome mtgathering(dot)ru database, but could not find HQ crops for the 6 sets mentioned.

I'm also looking for crops of the From the Vault series cards. Only Relics crops seem to be available.

Any help with any of these would be greatly appreciated.

I just wanted to inform you about a project several people including me are working on. The goal is to create all the sets of MTG inside MagicSetEditor, and to export the pictures with up-to-date oracle wording and the new frames for use in MWS and similar programs.

Does anyone here has HQ pics for Planeswalker cards? The ones that could be used for proxy generation.

this mtgsalvation thread and this slightlymagic thread both have frames. Not to mention that with a little tweaking you could use our own HQCG app to render every card in modern frames automatically. One-at-a-time field entry wouldn't be necessary.

Thanks a lot skibulk, this post has been immensly helpful. I just looked up the threads and am downloading Gwar's Tweaked ProxyGen just now to have a look at it. If I understand this correctly, Gwar's gen is just an advanced version ov HQCG, is that right?

What do you mean with a little tweaking, what is still missing?

If this is half as good as it sounds, MSE just lost it's place as my preferred proxy-generator.

If you wait a little while, Gwar is in the process of updating the package with sets released over the last year. He plans to release soon. By modification I mean you'd have to change a little PHP code to make it render everything in modern frames - it currently renders each set in the frame which it was released.

I took my time and actually found an easy solution to render them in modern frames, it's just a change in config:

[renderers]
render.eighth = 1
render.preEighth = 0
render.preEighth.basic.land.frames = 0

It now perfectly renders the cards as I like, can't thank you enough. Having the newer sets isn't the highest priority now, as I'm working my way from old to new anyway. There is just one attribute that seems to be missing, the collector's number on old edition that didn't yet have it (Alpha for example).

Coming back to another problem, I also can't seem to find the following Crops in HQ(soapbox mentioned it earlier):

mtgathering(dot)ru is down again. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find the HQ crops anywhere else (tried the Torrent, Gatherer Downloader and another website, they all have LQ crops in comparison to mtgathering)

Could anyone point me to an alternative that also has the HQ ones?

Strainer, I up it again.

Unfortunately the current CMS plugin that I use for downloads is was very resource intensive for me and hung the server because of running out of memory.
I hope in the near future to change the plugin on any more lightweight and easy script.

But for now I send you PM with direct links to all archives of crops I have, hope this help.

If you have something unreleased and want to help speed things up, all you need are some good cards and a good scanner, and you can see the link in extreme's sig for how to proceed.
