ai stil doesent count the exalted bonus when it decides to attack the planeswalker while it could have attacked my life points to finish the game example:
i got 11 life left with no creatures on board and i have 1 planeswalker ai decides to attack the planeswalker but after the exalted bonuses it gets to 11 attack bonus

cc-drake wrote:AI casts Grim Flowering without creatures in his graveyard.
Both fixed! Thanks cc-drake.cc-drake wrote:AI is on 2 life and controls Drudge Skeletons, Zombie Goliath and several 1/1 creatures. I attack with a 3/3 Stormblood Berserker, AI doesn't block and dies.
I did some work related to this, which might improve the decission in the future.Milod wrote:ai could block the soulbound creatures when paired and not the creature that is soulbounded example my 2 first strike creatures 1 of them Silverblade Paladin against ai 2 first strike creatures ai stil blocked the none soulbound creature it could have taken down the soulbound creature instead
Several improvements have been made to tapping decissions. Thanks mark.mark wrote:AI had Gideon's Lawkeeper (Ability: "{W},: Tap target creature."), I had a creature big enough to finish the AI in my next move. The AI could have prevented my attack but chose to tap my creature in it's own turn.
I toyed around for several turns, the AI had unused 20 mana every turn and several usable equipments but never attached them to one of the Lawkeepers (or made use of the Kor Outfitter ability).
With all those equipments the Lawkeeper could have blocked my creature.

AI is on 6 and I attack with a 6/5. AI blocks with a 1/1 and a 3/5 and loses both creatures in combat. Seems something got broken since the last beta...

I tried to reproduce this with Alpha Tyrranax, Llanowar Elves and Ironroot Treefolk, but the AI only blocked with Llanowar Elves. Can you describe the situation more precisely cc-drake?cc-drake wrote:AI is on 6 and I attack with a 6/5. AI blocks with a 1/1 and a 3/5 and loses both creatures in combat. Can't reproduce this specific situation either. Anyway, I got another scenario: AI is at 6 and controls 6 1/1 creatures. When I attack with Scaled Wurm, AI blocks with two 1/1 creatures.Sloth wrote:I tried to reproduce this with Alpha Tyrranax, Llanowar Elves and Ironroot Treefolk, but the AI only blocked with Llanowar Elves. AI cast Tamiyo, the Moon Sage and used her second ability, targeting itself, when it controlled no tapped creatures, and I controlled 2.

The AI... just doesn't seem to care when it comes to poison counters. Behaviour it'd otherwise exhibit when it's at 5 life doesn't seem to apply to it having 5 or more poison counters, and I usually have one or two creatures with infect and Rancor at that point.

This post is not very helpful saturnine. Please post the situation and what the AI did wrong.saturnine wrote:The AI... just doesn't seem to care when it comes to poison counters. While playing I noticed the same as cc-drake. When I attack with a creature with high power (and no trample) the AI blocks with two or more creatures which are not strong enough to kill the attacking creature. This happens on a regular basis to me, no matter if the creature I attack with is a Geist-Honored Monk, Sunspear Shikari equipped with Strata Scythe or a Timbermaw Larva.
I have the feeling that this happens more often when I attack with only a few very big creatures (e.g one or two creatures that are 9/9 each). I also got the impression that the AI always blocks with exactly two creatures in these situations but never with three or more creatures.
I attached one of my decks that I played with (just remove the .zip ending in the filename). Try to get a big Dungrove Elder or Timbermaw Larva and attack. Once the total power of the attacking creature(s) is enough to kill the AI it'll start blocking and often it will block with two creatures.
The following picture shows an exemplary situation I had while testing this a bit more.
(It's a big picture, so I put it into a spoiler.)

The AI is repeatedly blocking with too many creatures in version 1.2.15. It blocks non-trampling attackers with multiple creatures who don't have the possibility of killing the attacker instead of just chump blocking.

I had 3 creatures on the board and the AI had 7. I would attack the AI, but the AI wouldn't. I eventually won the match, since all the AI would do is block and lose a unit or two.

after exalted bonuses been counted in damage step ai aims for my planeswalker while i had no creatures on field and could have ended the game if it attacked me instead

Springjack Knight attacks me as the only creature in play. the clash ability never triggers. stack shows 'targetting error'.
