Initially I thought you might be able to amp up the difficulty a bit by throwing in a few creatures with Changeling. That way you'd fill more one and two drops and get to 10 Gates far faster. But I overlooked that little bit about creature types in Changelings so... FAIL. #-o

Might be an idea to add a Crucible of Worlds in case you're made to discard one of the one-of gates. Maybe a few key runes just to fill some 3 cmc slots that can ramp mana or be animated?

I see today's From the Lab was predominantly Gates/Maze so can probably steal a few ideas from there. (http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/ftl/248

Animate Land + Sakashima the Impostor... Would Forge allow the win? AI would probably have no clue, though.

I would increase the Gravity Sphere by at least one copy. The deck has exactly one creature with flying ...

Gravity Sphere is a very very weak card even for a medium deck. Electrickery, Jeska, Warrior Adept and Chandra's Fury are more than enough to deal with flyers.

Do we have a deck which is based on low CMC creatures, Mentor of the Meek and Cathar's Crusade?
| Open
4 x Mentor of the Meek
4 x Doomed Traveler
2 x Raise the Alarm
4 x Commander's Authority
4 x Midnight Haunting
22 x Plains
4 x Gather the Townsfolk
4 x Wall of Omens
4 x Precinct Captain
4 x Cathars' Crusade
4 x Thraben Doomsayer

Just a very quick list. . .

Yes, i think this is a good easy opponent. I removed Greenside Watcher, because the AI didn't use it and added one copy each of Armory Guard, Ogre Jailbreaker and Way of the Thief, because they clearly fit the theme. I've also added one copy of Root Maze (which is much better here than Orb of Dreams).

The Great Gatsby 1 | Open
3 Amulet of Vigor
1 Armory Guard
1 Azorius Guildgate
1 Boros Guildgate
1 Crackling Perimeter
2 Dimir Guildgate
4 Gatecreeper Vine
4 Gateway Shade
4 Golgari Guildgate
3 Gruul Guildgate
2 Hold the Gates
1 Izzet Guildgate
4 Maze's End
1 Ogre Jailbreaker
4 Opal Lake Gatekeepers
2 Orzhov Guildgate
2 Rakdos Guildgate
1 Root Maze
4 Saruli Gatekeepers
2 Selesnya Guildgate
2 Simic Guildgate
4 Smelt-Ward Gatekeepers
3 Sunspire Gatekeepers
3 Ubul Sar Gatekeepers
1 Way of the Thief

I'm fully aware that there is an overload of 4-drops, but that's why this is an easy deck.

Nordos wrote:Something between medium and hard. If it could be pushed, I#M sure, it could become hard, yaet I don't know how to push it besides giving it a mox and a sol ring (which wouldn't change that much IMO)
Essence of the Wild 2 | Open
1 Acorn Harvest
4 Awakening Zone
4 Beacon of Creation
4 Birds of Paradise
1 Endless Swarm
4 Essence of the Wild
4 Fierce Empath
2 Fists of Ironwood
24 Forest
2 Fungal Sprouting
3 Fyndhorn Elves
4 Llanowar Elves
3 Saproling Symbiosis
I like this deck. Will do some testing to see how to make it more powerful.

Ok, here is my version of the Essence of the Wild deck:

Chewbacca 3 | Open
4 Awakening Zone
4 Birds of Paradise
1 Concordant Crossroads
4 Dryad Arbor
4 Essence of the Wild
4 Fierce Empath
2 Fists of Ironwood
15 Forest
4 Fyndhorn Elves
4 Growth Spasm
4 Khalni Garden
4 Llanowar Elves
1 Nest Invader
4 Noble Hierarch
1 Mox Emerald

I dropped all the non mana token producers in favor of mana producers. The chance of hitting Essence of the Wild on turn four or earlier is quite high.

Here is a deck, which is yet not using its full potential.
take control and sacrifice | Open
Take control and sacrifice

Main:
2 x Conquering Manticore
4 x Act of Treason
4 x Mortician Beetle
2 x Molten Primordial
2 x Bringer of the Red Dawn
1 x Mox Jet
4 x Dragonskull Summit
2 x Cinder Wall
4 x Badlands
2 x Traitorous Instinct
4 x Disciple of Griselbrand
4 x Bloodflow Connoisseur
1 x Mox Ruby
7 x Swamp
2 x Attrition
4 x Threaten
4 x Zealous Conscripts
7 x Mountain

The AI doesn't yet sacrifice the creatures it has taken over ... :(
