4 x Mentor of the Meek

4 x Commander's Authority
4 x Midnight Haunting
22 x Plains
4 x Gather the Townsfolk
4 x Wall of Omens
4 x Precinct Captain
4 x Cathars' Crusade
4 x Thraben Doomsayer

Just a very quick list. . .
When the deck finds Cathars' Crusade or Mentor of the Meek it's quite nice, but sometimes it fails to deliver any synergies. I haven't really found any great additions, here's what i considered:
- Sigil Captain: Needs green, 3 power and the AI messes up the ordering of triggers sometimes.
- Austere Command: Might be useful for the CMC greater than 4 mode, but isn't stellar.
- Phantom General: Can only be used as a single copy, since two will mess with Mentor of the Meek.
- Soul Warden / Soul's Attendant: Not really powerful.

I don't really like neither of your suggestions :-/ I do have some suggestions on my own, though.
Keeping it mono white:
- Goldnight Commander (not as strong as Cathars' Crusade, yet still powerful)
- Godhead of Awe (while not empowering your creatures, it greatly debuffs the enemie's)
- Hero of Bladehold (another token generator + battlecry)
- Geist-Honored Monk (it is a very strong creature, which profits from having many tokens. How does it interact with Godhead of Awe?)
- Twilight Drover (does interact very well with Cathars' Crusade)
- either Elspeth Tirel or Elspeth, Knight-Errant
- Nomads' Assembly (hm, seems like a 'win more' card, though)
- Spectral Procession (instead of Midnight Haunting)
- Crusader of Odric (for these who don't have the mana to pay for the Monk^^)
- True Conviction (not convinced :P Still a very good card as long as your army is deployed)
- Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite (makes Mentor of the Meek useless, combined with Godhead of Awe, though, it instantly kills all enemy creatures)

So, well, and then there is the possibility to combine it with another color (I wouldn't take green, though, yet red. For example: Assemble the Legion, Boros Swiftblade, Boros Recruit, Sunhome Guildmage and similar...)

The Cardforge site is down at the moment so I'm just posting here for now so Chris doesn't waste time sourcing an image:

I felt that the hard deck was lacking some low level drops and a way to gain life. So, I modified it a bit
Gunnery Sergeant Hartman 3 | Open
4 x Trained Caracal
4 x Mentor of the Meek
4 x Doomed Traveler
1 x Mox Pearl
3 x Godhead of Awe
1 x Elspeth, Knight-Errant
1 x Geist-Honored Monk
4 x Gather the Townsfolk
22 x Plains
4 x Precinct Captain
4 x Cathars' Crusade
4 x Spectral Procession
4 x Thraben Doomsayer

What do you say...?

One drops are a good idea, but i think Soul Warden / Soul's Attendant would gain significantly more life than Trained Caracal.

Hmm....
It depends, tbh. In some situations, Soul Warden does get the better results, in others the Trained Caracal seems to be more fitting (especially when you drop below 5 life with some Thraben Doomsayer), yet I guess you are right. Tendentially, Soul Warden would give better results.
So, how about one copy of Trained Caracal and 3 of Soul Warden? Or 4 Soul Warden?

Looks good. In my tests, it was a pretty solid deck anyway :)

Hm, I really wanted to create a deck revolving around Phyrexian Obliterator, yet no matter what I do, I always fail. Maybe just creating a 'force' deck with the best black cards w/o syns? I really dislike the idea, yet I couldn't find good syns (I tested adding red and stuff like Grand Melee) ...

Maybe a black/green fatty deck with Phyrexian Obliterator and a bunch of lure and/or provoke? Something like Pariah's Shield could also work well with it but I'm not sure the AI would use it so well.

2 x Conquering Manticore
4 x Act of Treason
4 x Mortician Beetle
2 x Molten Primordial
2 x Bringer of the Red Dawn
1 x Mox Jet
4 x Dragonskull Summit
2 x Cinder Wall

4 x Disciple of Griselbrand
4 x Bloodflow Connoisseur
1 x Mox Ruby
7 x Swamp
2 x Attrition
4 x Threaten
4 x Zealous Conscripts
7 x Mountain

The AI doesn't yet sacrifice the creatures it has taken over ... :(
I'm working on teaching the AI to handle this.

tried it already. The AI would fail to attack with the Obliterator (I used Nemesis Mask as well as Deadly Allure and Lure. Provoke is meaningless, since the whole point of it is, that it wouldn't attack)
Since it has 4 black mana in it's cost, I tried to avoid splashing too much. ...
I think I already tried to let them fight, but the outcome wasn't as I wished for it. I can retry it, though, since a lot of time has passed since I tried it last time :P

BTW, how about a samurai deck? Either Mono white or splashed with red

So I tried my hand at a Phyrexian Obliterator deck but ended up with a more general sacrifice deck. I reckon its easy although probably needs the duals removed, but has some potential to be medium, and can be a fun challenge for weaker players like myself. I tried with Pariah's Shield, but AI just attached to the first creature it could (although it was quite spectacular the one game it ended up with Pariah's Shield and Hero's Resolve on an Obliterator). Currently a 70-card deck so can be trimmed a bit too.

Yeah.... having a deck based around the obliterator is a lot harder then you would think, right? ^^
Dunno, maybe I try to create a mono black 'might' deck with the Obli, though I really doslike having no syns

I checked the quest opponents and found one that features Phyrexian Obliterator:
Da Vinci 3 | Open
23 Swamp|NPH
1 Mox Jet
4 Korlash, Heir to Blackblade
1 Ascendant Evincar
1 Bad Moon
2 Corrosive Mentor
1 Hellfire
2 Corrupt
2 Phyrexian Obliterator
1 Mind Sludge
1 Nightmare
1 Tendrils of Corruption
1 Halo Hunter
1 Massacre Wurm
1 Visara the Dreadful
2 Black Knight
1 Gatekeeper of Malakir
1 Dauthi Slayer
1 Death Stroke
1 Grasp of Darkness
1 Hand of Cruelty
2 Hymn to Tourach
1 Nantuko Shade
1 Nether Traitor
1 Sinkhole
1 Lashwrithe
1 Geth's Verdict
1 Wrench Mind
1 Dunerider Outlaw
1 Geralf's Messenger

Da Vinci is the opponent that has mono black as a theme.

We have a sacrifice themed opponent Homer Simpson 1-3 with Mortician Beetle

Homer Simpson 3 | Open
4 Underground Sea

4 Chainer's Edict
2 Diabolic Edict
4 Gatekeeper of Malakir
4 Hellspark Elemental
4 Spark Elemental
2 Hell's Thunder
2 Slave of Bolas

and a mono black sacrifice opponent:
Black Flame 3 | Open
1 Black Market
4 Blood Artist
1 Butcher of Malakir
4 Death Cultist
3 Deathgreeter
3 Falkenrath Noble
1 Fume Spitter
1 Grave Betrayal

1 Massacre Wurm
1 Mox Jet
1 Ogre Slumlord
2 Royal Assassin
1 Sangromancer
4 Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker
2 Skirsdag High Priest
23 Swamp

While i wouldn't mind another sacrifice themed deck, i don't think white adds any vital cards to it. Your deck has only 5 cards that profit from your opponent sacrificing creature: 4 Mortician Beetle and 1 Debtors' Knell.
