IMO Baleful Strix would be a very strong addition, too: an blocker (flying, deathtouch) and if it gets returned to the hand, the AI may draw an additional card. Additionally, it is very cheap...
Is Chittering Rsat better then, lets say Liliana's Specter? OK, true, when Hearthless Summoning in the field, the rats are better (even though it would be BB for a 1/1...)
How about Dream Stalker? If he returns the correct card to its hand anyway
Maybe one copy of Venser, Shaper Savant? (once again, only if he knows what to return)
Dire Undercurrent could prove useful, too...
Dinrova Horror? Nah, too costly... Mhm
Hmm

I love the idea of Baleful Strix except that its a fail when Heartless Summunimg is in play.

I couldn't tell if Sloth was intentionally avoiding 2 cost spells. Otherwise, Ravenous Rats should definitely be in. Especially since Heartless Summoning is only a 1-of.

Yes, i also build the deck around Heartless Summoning (even though there is only one copy of it). That's why i left out all 1 toughness guys.moomarc wrote:I love the idea of Baleful Strix except that its a fail when Heartless Summunimg is in play.
Maybe i will try to create a hard version without Heartless Summoning and 4 Baleful Strix.

Another, although easy, deck, based on land fetching. It can get pretty hardcore with the right combo, yet the AI won't use it to its fullest anyway (Amulet of Vigor / Lotus Cobra, Perilous Forays and a token generator -> infinite land fetch), yet otherwise it is just an easy opponent.
(100 cards in total)
- "run Forest, run!" | Open
- 4 Amulet of Vigor
2 Ant Queen
2 Boundless Realms
2 Cultivate
2 Dawntreader Elk
4 Elvish Pioneer
2 Explosive Vegetation
40 Forest
4 Grazing Gladehart
4 Hunting Wilds
4 Khalni Heart Expedition
2 Kodama's Reach
4 Lotus Cobra
4 Perilous Forays
2 Primeval Bounty
2 Primeval Titan
4 Rampaging Baloths
4 Rampant Growth
2 Seed the Land
2 Seer's Sundial
4 Sporemound

Ant Queen, Primeval Titan and Rampaging Baloths are all too powerful for an easy opponent. And we already have a medium mono G deck with Amulet of Vigor:Nordos wrote:Another, although easy, deck, based on land fetching. Hm. I actually thought that the powerlevel is at easy, and these would be needed to deal a finishing blow should the human need to much time (as to speak, as finisher)
As long as he doesn't have some combinations, he can't really do much. Most of the times, he will only fetch lands until turn 5 or 6, before starting anything

The deck has a (low) chance of dropping one of these fatties on turn four. I prefer easy decks to never do unfair plays, because new players (new to Magic in general) can get frustrated by them (see this post: viewtopic.php?f=26&t=11445).Nordos wrote:Hm. I'm sure the deck works fine without these cards. Sporemound for example is on theme and passable, but never really broken.

OK, although I would like to keep Ant Queen. A single removal and that thing is dead anyway, yet it is needed to build up pressure, otherwise the deck really can't do anything with its mana, only with the forest coming into play...

Ok, i've added some more cards that profit from lots of forests and removed Perilous Forays, because the AI didn't really use it :Nordos wrote:OK, although I would like to keep Ant Queen. I had another deck idea (which doesn't work as intented, of course), basing on 'sacrificing'.
Yet, if the AI could be changed that he will only use the sacrifice ability at the end of the enemy turn instead at his upkeep, it may actuallly prove strong enough to be a medium opponent ...
- "mono B sacrifice" | Open
- 4 Bloodflow Connoisseur
2 Phyrexian Obliterator
4 Disciple of Griselbrand
4 Reassembling Skeleton
24 Swamp
4 Harvester of Souls
4 Nether Traitor
4 Mortician Beetle
2 Woebringer Demon
4 Tenacious Dead
4 Grave Pact

It's very similar to one of your old decks:Nordos wrote:I had another deck idea (which doesn't work as intented, of course), basing on 'sacrificing'.

- Black Flame 3 | Open
- 1 Black Market
4 Blood Artist
1 Butcher of Malakir
4 Death Cultist
3 Deathgreeter
3 Falkenrath Noble
1 Fume Spitter
1 Grave Betrayal
4 Grave Pact
3 Harvester of Souls
1 Massacre Wurm
1 Mox Jet
1 Ogre Slumlord
2 Royal Assassin
1 Sangromancer
4 Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker
2 Skirsdag High Priest
23 Swamp
The difference is that the old deck had creatures that sac themselves and the new deck has sac outlets like Disciple of Griselbrand (which the AI handles better than Bloodflow Connoisseur btw). I will try to tweak the deck or the AI to handle such a deck.
EDIT: Mmh, Attrition, Gnawing Zombie, Krovikan Horror, Malevolent Awakening, Stronghold Assassin look nice.

Mhm, I really don't know what decks I've already created, so, sorry if I post a similar deck once in a time ... ^^
I thought about a deck basing on Archdemon of Greed and Xathrid Necromancer
IMO the most problematic thing is running out of humans (with Archdemon of Greed . . .), thats why I included 4 Dark Confidant 's. ATM I would guess its powerlevel around medium.
I may try to combine it with white to raise it's level to 3 (with Mentor of the Meek and Unruly Mob - and various lifelink.
By the way, would the AI being able to handle Conspiracy? Because it would be fun if the Zombies became Humans, too

This is way too complicated. The AI needs cards that are safe to sacrifice, it will almost never sacrifice others. Here is a list based on that: 20 creatures are sacrifices, 17 cards need sacrifices and 3 cards profit from sacrifices.Nordos wrote:I thought about a deck basing on Archdemon of Greed and Xathrid Necromancer

The AI will pick the most prominent creature type in his deck. So if you manage this to be Human then yes.Nordos wrote:By the way, would the AI being able to handle Conspiracy? Because it would be fun if the Zombies became Humans, too
