Doing some playtesting of changes to log/stack viewer and even though AI has nothing on the battlefield it decides to play "Vampiric Fury" instant.

When Ajani's Chosen asks if you want to attach the aura to the created token, the aura gets attached even if you choose "No".

He he well this many cards it's bound to happen...
I tested the Heroic ability with auras some more, and sometimes it seems to work, sometimes not. I can't figure out what is different.
Also, Fabled Hero should have double strike.

@sponeta: I wasn't able to replace this bug. Auras are a bit special when it comes to targeting, they only target when cast. If they are returned to the battlefield (say via a reanimation effect) they do not target. Is this what you are seeing? If not, please provide some steps to replicate this, thanks!

Thanks for catching this, the effect was not checking the result of the "may". Fixed for next release in https://code.google.com/p/magarena/sour ... 1d80003ba4sponeta wrote:When Ajani's Chosen asks if you want to attach the aura to the created token, the aura gets attached even if you choose "No".

I played ten games with the same deck but I can't get the Aura/Heroic bug to reappear. It wasn't about returning something from the graveyard, though. There seems to be only two cards in Magarena that can put an Aura (or other noncreature, nonartifact permanent) to the battlefield without casting it, Obzedat's Aid and Sun Titan, but I didn't have either of these in my deck.
Now I'm starting to think that I got Setessan Battle Priest mixed with Fabled Hero, and thought it was a bug when I didn't see a +1/+1 counter... kind of embarrassing.
On the plus side, I got a new deck thoroughly playtested!

Still no repeat of the Aura/Heroic bug. Guess it was a fluke. Here's another though:
When the AI is casting Syncopate, it often chooses a small value for X that I'm able to pay, even though the AI has more lands than me. For example, I have 3 untapped lands and the AI has 6, but the AI casts Syncopate with X=2. I pay 2 and the spell isn't countered. It's not wrong, exactly, since I won't be able to use those lands to cast another spell, but not a very effective use of the card.

It looks as though protection from artifacts isn't working correctly.
You can still equip and target with artifacts.
Angelic Curator equipped with Swiftfoot Boots for a quick example you can do.

Talrand's Invocation disappeared after being cast. It didn't go into my graveyard or exile. There weren't any cards in play that would have caused it to be exiled, like Dryad Militant. The log didn't show any spells that would have exiled or shuffled cards from my graveyard either. This happened twice during the same game.

If I enchant a land with Underworld Connections, it's not considered different to other lands of the same type. For example, if I only have basic Swamps and cast Underworld Connections on the leftmost card, it will always get auto-tapped when I cast any spell.
Have not tested, but could this apply to other land enchants as well, like Brink of Disaster or Uncontrolled Infestation?

I have to report a weird AI behaviour:
the AI activated the ability of Niblis of the Breath 3 times in a row to untap itself, wasting the blue mana. I happened during the AI upkeep, with no other creatures in play on the AI side

It also happened to me. As far as I can tell, this occurs with any Instant which doesn't have groovy code (reproduced with Counterspell, Mana Leak, Lightning Bolt and Shock)sponeta wrote:Talrand's Invocation disappeared after being cast.
