It is but if you have a ton of cards it is really hard to quickly see how many of something that you own. If it was in the top part of the screen you could run through the list and see if there was anything that you wanted that you had under 4 of. My cards owned in quest are 3173. It takes a while to find something. Just an idea.

Shandalar had this feature in the quest mode that allowed you to get a card from your opponents desk occasionally. That would be cool.

In Bazaar I would really like to the store to have twice as many cards to purchase.
Is there any way to choose what abilitys my pets have?
I think it would be really cool to have the choice of either lifelink, First Strike, Deathtouch, Flying, Wither, or Shroud,
I would love for my plant to tap to gain one life, tap to add one green, or regenerate.
I would also like to choose the color. It seems odd to be bashing with my mono black deck but have a green wolf swinging too.

Wow this is the 4th post in a row from me.
I just thought of something I would like to see in Quest. I would like a for the opponent to play the same deck that I am playing with my plant and both pets. I don't know if this is possible but would be a pretty cool quest. If the computer could have 1.5 as much health that would be cool too.

After a 100+ win quest campaign (with no match losses), I realized that I was deliberately skipping some opponents (the Memnarch decks in particular, but I was avoiding the Battle of Wits deck as well). I decided to set off on running the gauntlet, so I wrote down the hard opponents (since those are the only ones I could run into any more) and deliberately went after each. The problem comes in when you tried to track down the last couple opponents; I was repeatedly opening and closing the Deck Editor to bring up new opponents looking for Sea Biscuit to finish off the gauntlet. I accomplished the mission, but I was wondering if we could add "Gauntlet" as a quest type option? I would also like to have Forge keep track of my match statistics (my records against each individual opponent rather than just wins and losses).
Another thought I just had is maybe have each opponent have a random rare card that you could win the first time you defeat it...

Not sure if it is possible but it would be cool if the computer received more life the more you won against it.Almost_Clever wrote: I would also like to have Forge keep track of my match statistics (my records against each individual opponent rather than just wins and losses).
Starts with 10 life and gains a life each time you win against it.

Hmm, I could do that for a certain special quest match maybe? Each time you beat it, it'll gain one life (and each time you lose, it'll lose one?)

A quick search of this topic didn't come up with anything, so if this has already been mentioned, I apologize in advance.
This kind of goes along with my specific card request for Library of Leng. I'd like to have the "No Maximum Hand Size" mechanic enabled in Forge, if possible. I'll admit to some bad deck design here, but on the occasions when I'm land-hosed, I'd like to be able to avoid discarding when I have more than 7 cards in my hand.

I was thinking of adding something like this to quest mode, maybe not an infinite handsize though, but perhaps a max of 8 - 9.timmermac wrote:A quick search of this topic didn't come up with anything, so if this has already been mentioned, I apologize in advance.

What I really miss having is a game log on the field. If you like, it could take the place of the combat area when there's no combat.
Also, would you make it tag the cards with summoning sickness with a note similar to token tags so I don't forget... When I click on a card and nothing happens, that doesn't give me any feedback why it's not working.

At some point it will be nice to compete against 1-3 more computer opponents.
Not only that, if a teamwork function could be created where two teams of up to 3 could go at it like some old style tourneys used to be for fun.
Leads to whole new types of decks and playing styles.

I don't see how it's possible, basically what you're asking for is a whole new game.
AI in multiplayer is totally different. Screen layout in multiplayer is totally different.
Maybe one day when Forge has reached its pinnacle of 1 vs 1 development, but until then...

While it could be fun to compete against multiple computer opponents in the future, I also agree that we should take things one step at a time. Rares gave us the basic program and the original quest mode. Dennis has added a number of cards, features and an improved fantasy quest mode.
The biggest need at this time besides a few bug fixes is additional theme decks for the computer to play against us in quest mode. We have a topic in the decks thread for people to discuss and post AI decks. Anyone who is interested in participating is free to join in and can ask questions.

It'd be nice if Forge could understand that there are draws sometimes. As it currently is it counts a draw as a loss for both players
(if they both lose at the same time ... I assume if somehow you could get both to win at the same time the opposite would occur).
Interestingly, I killed both of us in quest mode after winning the first game, which put me at 2-1 for the match. However, I got the "You lost" message, though I was correctly awarded a win rather than a loss. I'm guessing it checks whether you lost the last game of the match for purposes of the win/lose message, but checks your record within the match for updating your win/loss count. Weird.
