. Corrosive Mentor and Pestilence Demon:
When used together, the Pestilence Demon's activated ability should apply -1/-1 counters to creatures but it doesn't.

There seems to be an issue with the interface. During a match the computer's life total only shows the second number and the human's life total doesn't show at all.
I'm not sure if AI suggestions go here, but I'll post it anyways. I played against the Exalted deck which was a funny match. The computer had 300 life until I was able to nevinyrral's disk to eliminate all it's creatures then dropped two nightmares with 8 swamps out and a serra angel. It had 15 cards left in it's library before I killed it. LOL It did have a trample creature out with exalted that I thought it should have been using instead. Not sure how difficult this would be but maybe add a script that states if computer is at 30 life and over and a trample creature is in play to use the trample creature instead. As I was able to hold off it's Lifelinked angel with my two hives. I was also curious that it still did full damage to a 1/1 creature which allowed it to gain massive life. If this is in the rules I need to change how I play. LOL My Lifelinked Orcish Artillary (in my live games only) has only been giving me 1 life when I tap it's ability to kill 1/1 creatures.

Compy casts Molten Rain while I have no lands in play. He therefor should target one of his own lands (he has lands in play), since Molten Rain says "target land", naturally he does not and no land is destroyed.

Lifelink gains life equal to the amount of damage dealt, regardless of the toughness of the damaged creature. Lifelink does not work like Drain Life. A lifelinked Orcish Artillery should gain 5 life (for the two dealt to the creature or player and three dealt to its controller) after its damage-dealing ability is used.ImedNoc wrote:...I was also curious that it still did full damage to a 1/1 creature which allowed it to gain massive life. Hmm, this makes me wonder, why in the heck would the AI cast Molten Rain while you have no lands in play? Did you remove a land in response?Mr.Chaos wrote:Compy casts Molten Rain while I have no lands in play. Ok, I've been using it wrong then. However, shouldn't I be only getting 2 life back since the 3 damage to me and the 3 life I gain from that damage cancel out? So, it would go tap Orcish artillary to kill opponent's 1/1 creature gain 5 life lose 3.Almost_Clever wrote:Lifelink gains life equal to the amount of damage dealt, regardless of the toughness of the damaged creature. No, I played the Big11 deck, which uses lots of moxes and only Gaea's Cradle as a land and I had not yet gotten the Cradle. So Compy was the only one with lands upon casting Molten Rain. I saw him do that again on the next game so it was no fluke.DennisBergkamp wrote:Hmm, this makes me wonder, why in the heck would the AI cast Molten Rain while you have no lands in play? I have seen Compy play Misty Rainforest several times but he never activated it to search for a Forest or Island card.
Compy lost a game due to getting only 2 Misty Rainforest and no other lands and never activating them so he was permanently mana screwed. Easiest game I played all day.
Is this a card Compy cannot use? Just wondering.

I normally play forge by compiling from the svn source, and I have actually tried deleting the files from the google code, but I cannot compile, and haven't been able for a few days. I figured the error might be more widespread? I don't know much about java programming, but it says it's throwing an exception, so it's probably important.

It looks like you are missing one of the source code files from your forge project. I think you need to add to your project this file:
/{project name}/src/forge/QuestData.java
/{project name}/src/forge/QuestData.java

I was playing against an AI deck with Thopter Foundry last night and it got a little crazy.
Every turn, it would use all its mana to make Thopter tokens, never making the required artifact sacrifice as payment. The screen was quickly full of tokens and I was overwhelmed.
Maybe I should build a deck around it. Between the cheap cost and the life gain, I like my odds!
Edit:
Darn - The cost bug exists only for the AI. I ended up with a deck in which the worst card was Thopter Foundry. I basically ended up sacrificing them to themselves. It did become a decent Bitterblossom deck, though...

build:
r1852
I have been playing on this build today and whenever I have Swords to Plowshares cast against me I draw cards equal to the power of the creature.

When I cast Boomerang on the creature the computer was targeting with an Eldrazi Conscription, the Eldrazi Conscription was left on the battlefield (doing nothing, but sitting there none-the-less).
I blocked a 16 toughness trampling creature with a Swans of Bryn Argoll and the computer drew 16 cards despite dealing 13 trample damage to me.
My Basilisk Collar - equipped Femeref Archers dealt damage to an attacking Baneslayer Angel, but I neither gained life nor was the Baneslayer Angel destroyed (the Baneslayer Angel did have 4 damage assigned and resolved, though). The Basilisk Collar works correctly on a Prodigal Sorcerer, however.
