I'm not against it, as long as we communicate that the AI will not be aware of mana burn (Eladamri's Vineyard for example will become unfair).slapshot5 wrote:I like this idea, and I'll implement it unless several others are strongly opposed to having this as an option.

I have this implemented and working locally. I'll check it in and people can play with it and decide if we want to keep it.

- Make all deck-edit/draft screens consistent.
- Use best features of each (graphic filter buttons, etc).
- Allow maximize window.
- Allow adjustment of relative height of cardpool/deck areas -- or with available space in full screen, display side-by-side w/ pic and card data under pack in draft or under card pool in deck edit. Auto-optimize for all resolutions or remember user adjustments.
- Advanced sorting/filtering in a compact/collapsible area? ie <=>! CMC, coloured part of cost for splash cards etc, Power, Toughness.

My request concern a very easy feature to do :
In quest mode, I always prefer to choose to fight special quest decks, because the reward is better.
So my request is :
- To give a best reward to normal quests decks.
- Do more special quests decks. Then it's the community work to do this. When I will have time, I will construct some nice special quests decks.
Final request :
Many specials quests decks have "repeat=false". I don't really understand why, because it's boring to fight the basic specials quest decks (blue dungeon, red dungeon, etc..). So I edit these deck and write "repeat=true" to all special quests decks. Isn't it better do always do "repeat=true" to all specials quests decks ?

There are a few topics devoted to creating AI-tuned decks for quest mode located on the Forge Decks forum.

can we get some sort of skin preview? currently when you click on the skin it applies immediately (asks for restart). maybe it could show a screenshot of the starting tab and battlefield before applying the skin

This is already possible through dev mode -> Set Player Life. It's not what we generally use it for, but you could use it for that.DemoneNero wrote:The possibility to change starting life points, I would like to set them to 40 for longer games

when using the deck editor, i would prefer if we can choose which sets the basic lands (or other cards) come from. I would like to use the basic lands from Zendikar since they have full art
What I normally do is go to /res/decks and edit the respective .dck files to change the sets where the basic lands come from, but sadly the change can only be seen after i restart forge.

What you could do is use the set filter dropdown in the deck editor and select a set before adding your lands. That should use the lands from that set then.yagi wrote:when using the deck editor, i would prefer if we can choose which sets the basic lands (or other cards) come from. I have 2 UI requests, at least one of them is a pretty small thing that would save a lot of time:
1) When working with the various menus with editors, for example the Quest shop, when you click a button like Buy or Sell, immediately set the UI focus back to the corresponding card list.
I usually go to the shop after every match, sell my singles while they are marked "new", and look for new singles on sale. The way I would like to do it is using the arrow keys to navigate the list with the left hand and click a button with the mouse in the right hand, skipping cards I want to keep just with the arrow keys. However, when I want to keep a card and not sell it, I have to travel to the list component with the mouse, give the component focus back, and return the cursor to the SELL button. That takes a lot longer than it should, those are unnecessary clicks and mouse travel paths.
2) Remember the last used sorting in editor components.
When selling, I always sort by the "new" column. When buying I typically sort by rarity. Saving the last used sort order would save the user the hassle of doing that over and over again.
