Multiplayer-Lan bugs

Postby Aswan jaguar » 14 May 2012, 14:52

I will start a topic about cards that bug multiplayer-Lan game.Maybe some can be coded differently so that they don't bug multiplayer-Lan game.

Describe the Bug:
Fetchlands crash multiplayer. The library opens and the error happens when you choose the land to fetch, you get this error:
Error= Was expecting a LIBRARY packet but got a SHOWLIST packet!

Which card did behave improperly ?
Fetchlands?

Which update are you using?(date, name)Which type(Duel,Gauntlet,Sealed Deck)
ML3 APRILV2

What exactly should be the correct behavior/interaction ?
NO MULTIPLAYER-LAN crash

Are any other cards possibly affected by this bug ?

[confirmed]Seton's Scout

Postby 0rion79 » 16 May 2012, 11:08

The card Seton's Scout does't get any +2/+2 when there are 7+ cards in graveyard. Very strange: I did use Nimble Mongoose code for that, but without shroud ability, and it works fine.

[new info]Nettletooth Djinn no upkeep damage

Postby 0rion79 » 16 May 2012, 12:30

: Nettletooth Djinn doesn't deal any damage to owner during upkeep. Very strange: I remember that long time ago I did code that card using Juzam Djinn 's code and the last one is still working fine.

No need to recode it Gargaroz I set the correct values= "Juzam Djinn" ones and the upkeep cost work fine. The "activate cost" column seems to be the one that activates it so this column isn't only for activation costs but for Upkeep costs, too?

Re: Re:[checking]EDH Problems-Grand Colliseum illegal colour

Hi, just for records, I'm experiencing the same illegality issue with other cards. I have mentioned them in another topic since I didn't see this one.

No threshold effect triggering for me too, forcing the RuleEngine card to pop doesn't help either.

[confirmed]Gloom

Postby Althuna » 24 May 2012, 15:23

It increases cost of spells, but it did not increase the cost of my Luminarch Ascension. Maybe a bug?

Actually, I don't think it will work with any of the cards coded in C, could you make some tests ?

So far from what I have tested no white enchantment activation effect are affected by Gloom, that cover 1.32 and 2.0+ cards

Arenson's Aura
Blessing
Burden of Guilt
Chromatic Armor
Circle of Despair
Circle of Protection: Red
Forced Worship

Strange, there are some values that made me think that something for altering the costs of activated abilities was already set in the original Manalink. But if even hardcoded CoPs doesn't interact with Gloom, that interaction wasn't presente at all even in the original Manalink.
